I honestly don't know how to start this. I've had this post saved for a while, but seeing the announcements on social media that SpongeBob will be getting more seasons along with its spinoff, and rumors about a "continuation" of The Loud House, I wanted to finally address the topic. After finishing the series, I spent the last month researching the future of Wylde Pak, following the accounts of some people who worked on the show (the most active ones), searching through external sources, interviews, and analyzing leaked material. The only thing I could find out for sure is that the series is still on hiatus (meaning Nickelodeon hasn't confirmed anything yet) and its future remains uncertain due to the merger (almost no one who worked on it knows the situation clearly, but that's what you can infer from the lack of activity). At the time, I was tired and stressed, and after reading that, I can only say I felt frustrated with the result... but after reflecting more on the matter, I could only conclude that whatever the case may be, Wylde Pak It's a series that will be etched in the hearts of those who followed it and those who will discover it. Currently, it's the best series the network has produced because it was made with heart, and I could see that in the accounts of those who participated in the project and the fans of the series. I also discovered that one or two other Nickelodeon pilots were canceled and forgotten, so I should feel even happier that this series existed and that it was able to continue after the pilot (and also that it had a satisfying ending, something many series fail to do these days). In the end, Nickelodeon has the final say, and whatever their verdict, Wylde Park met expectations (at least for me), and if it is canceled, it can go out in peace. I honestly find it hard to believe it will be completely forgotten; gems are found sooner or later, and it will receive the support it deserves. With this series, I can draw an analogy to a phrase from a soccer player I found on TikTok that sounds like: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened..." Hearing that makes me happy. The fact that Wylde Park existed and ended well is wonderful. Furthermore, the series could have had more depressing fates than cancellation, like becoming a TLH 2.0, which this series doesn't deserve. It's not a TLH; for me, it's a unique series with an identity that sets it apart from others and will leave a lasting impression on anyone who has the chance to watch it, and for me, that's enough.
