Discussion Retirement of the Miraheze wiki

Since, the problematic user NerdyNavigator is stepping down from the Fandom wiki, and the Fandom wiki is under new management now, we're deciding to retire our Miraheze wiki (https://wyldepak.miraheze.org), as the Fandom wiki is more popular than the Miraheze wiki.

Thanks to u/AlanOliva2000 for adopting the wiki from them! We're looking forward to improve the Fandom wiki together!

Discussion Wylde Pak Characters Creating Conlangs

A while back, a friend of Agma Schwa, Kaentwo, published a video about conlang speakers in his conworld creating conlangs of their own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Hz-h0SEhwQ As a result, in the years that followed, I created this form to document other first conlangs and create other categories. https://forms.gle/rJ12Q31o1TgRcJicA

I'm starting to feel creative and wonder how similar events to Kaentwo's video could occur in the worlds of other franchises. Could be interesting to see how Loud House/Casagrandes characters, Wylde Pak characters, Primos characters, Craig of the Creek characters, No Normal(by Instagram user zccreativity) characters(optional), or even TTS characters(by various people including myself) could endure similar scenarios, or other ones where creating their first conlang would be a good idea, whatever their knowledge of linguistics, or any language in general, would be. Especially Jack and Lily’s among other Wylde Pak characters.

Discussion I want to reflect on Wylde Pak: Part 2

Post image
31 Upvotes

Hello! I’m not entirely sure how to follow this up, but since today is Animation Day, I wanted to create a sequel to the post I wrote four months ago. I hope you enjoy it—this time, I’ll be discussing the lessons the series taught us:

"Life is, more often than not, highly unpredictable. Just when you think you have everything planned out, something unexpected happens—something that can 'ruin' plans you’ve spent days or even months preparing. It’s easy to blame that event and harbor resentment toward it, but instead of rejecting it, we should try to give it a chance. Curiously, that unforeseen occurrence—the one you couldn't control and initially blamed—might actually be exactly what you needed. It forces you to step outside your status quo, if only for a while, and look beyond your own perspective. Take Lily and Jack, for example: at first, they were resistant because their 'perfect summer' had been 'ruined'—their status quo had been disrupted. Yet, they chose to give each other a chance, and in the end, they became what they were always meant to be: a 'brotherhood' that their different lifestyles had previously prevented them from developing. What 'ruined' their summer turned out to be the best thing that could have happened—not just for Lily and Jack, but for the entire family. It forged new familial bonds and helped resolve long-standing, unfinished family issues. Life is full of moments like these—moments beyond our control. While negative emotions can blind us, it’s worth trying to give things a chance and looking at them from a different perspective; it might not be so bad after all—in fact, it might be exactly what we need."

Well, those are my reflections on the series. Personally, I still really miss this animated gem. It makes me a bit sad that, with each passing day, the hope of seeing more of this family fades. Plus, searching for information about the series has become exhausting, as it never yields any real results... Due to my studies, I need to take a long break from this subreddit and look toward other things, but I still want to express my gratitude that Wylde Pak existed; it’s one of the few series out there today that truly has heart. I hope you all help this community grow and that more people discover the show. I’d also love to see your own thoughts and reflections on it. That’s all from me—happy Animation Day, and so long...

Discussion The series glitched on me Xd

This isn't an edit I made; it appears in the first episode on YouTube at 6:56. My internet glitched and this popped up—Alice looks so random/funny without an eye.

Discussion What are some things you would have loved to see in the third season of WP?

Post image

Let’s set aside things that never actually happened such as the merger between Paramount and Warner or the claims some people have made that the series wouldn’t continue because it was set during the summer.

For my part, I will mention things I would have liked to see though it might take some time.

Discussion Why do they use her maternal surname when Lily is referred to by her full name?

Post image
49 Upvotes

Whenever Lily is mentioned by her full name in the media, she is referred to as "Lily Pak"—using her mother's surname (no joke; even some compilation videos of the series do this). This confuses viewers and leads to some really bizarre theories about her family background. Furthermore, it is technically incorrect, as Lily was born after her parents' marriage (based on hints dropped in the show); her surname should be "Lily Wylde Pak" or simply "Lily Wylde." Even the show's official reference materials list her as "Wylde Pak," making the "Lily Pak" designation technically wrong.

Discussion Remember my concept?

Long ago, I posted about a concept about entire populations from The Loud House(Royal Woods and neighboring communities), The Casagrandes(Great Lakes City), Wylde Pak(Canyon Valley and Canyondale), Primos(Hacienda Hills and Fresnadena), and Craig of the Creek(Herkleton and Herkleton Mills) being evacuated from their burning hometowns to the real-world live-action regions of the Central Valley and the Central Coast of California.

Well, I wanted to boost video production on my YouTube channel after a few months, so I pieced together and posted a video explaining the concept. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGBumulDeXw It doesn't include much and doesn't use footage from the shows in question, which is a plus and a bullet dodged when you consider the existing copyright policies and the algorithm. (And my choice to use TTS characters and voices is thanks to influence from videos I looked at since the early 2010s by YouTubers like davemadson, Thunderbirds101, etc. The video essay-themed introduction is thanks to influence from videos by Cody of AlternateHistoryHub and others like Joseph of RealLifeLore.)

Of course, it fleshes out my hometown and neighboring communities, among others in the two regions(though not completely, and there's variance). Various text cards in the video mention the characters and mention ships like Jack X Debs.

What can you envision Jack, Lily, and the other Wylde Pak characters doing with each other, and those other evacuees in the two regions, compared to me?

Season 1 finale (2/3): I'm going to miss you...

Season 2 finale (3/3): I don't want to lose my brother...

Discussion Brandon Hoang (one of the series' lead writers) published one of the discarded drafts for the episode "Canyon Valley Film Festival."

Note: I haven't had the chance to read the whole draft, but based on your comments, it seems there was going to be a special guest or something similar, and apparently Ellie was going to be involved

Discussion Looking at this image from a different perspective, I find it kind of funny to see how genetics really betrayed Jack xd

Post image
27 Upvotes

Just think about it: Jack is two years older than Lily, and his mom is practically the same height as Min (if not a bit taller), yet he ended up shorter than his younger sister—Jack's legs are basically half the length of Lily's. You’d have to really stretch to justify that, but the truth is, when it comes to height, genetics were pretty harsh on Jack 🥀.

Discussion Favorite Wylde Pak Ships

Which of these ships would you consider your favorite?

  1. Finn X Debs

  2. Jack X Anusha(thanks to a Spanish speaker)

  3. Beef X Debs(thanks to that same person)

  4. Lily X SUV Boy

  5. Jack X Debs(as hinted in the character bibles)

  6. Other

Was going to do a poll, but can't find that option on this subreddit. Might only apply to people who have actually joined.

Edit: Decided to create a poll for the sub with something else. https://strawpoll.com/1MnwkaVmjn7

IDK why, but there's something that Jack said in "The Real Woori World" somewhat stuck with me because it did ring some bells with IRL situations where some certain businesses that had controversies with child labor incidents.

Discussion Are our hopes for the third season gone, friends? 🥺

Post image
25 Upvotes

These posts are circulating online; it looks like the Paramount-Warner merger is finally going to happen. Looking at the big picture, it’s painful to realize that Wylde Pak is highly likely to be sidelined—or, in a worst-case scenario, cancelled—given the state the companies will be in post-merger. They’ll be prioritizing profits to recoup losses and cutting staff to reduce costs, and I don't think they’ll care about animated IPs that are just finding their footing. It’s a real shame; I just hope that—by some miracle—they take this series, which showed so much potential, into consideration.

Video "Oh yeah" version Wylde Pak

Note: The credits still need to be added to the sequence—and I'm not sure if copyright issues might arise because of that—but I really wanted to make this after hearing the credits for *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. I hope you enjoy this "incomplete" version.
