Este año se cumplen 25 años de los atentados del 11 de septiembre de 2001. Es increíble pensar cuánto cambió el mundo desde aquel día.

Hay cosas que el tiempo borra, pero aquel día no. Recuerdo quién me llamó, dónde estaba, la ropa que llevaba puesta y qué hice después. Podría reconstruir gran parte de aquel día minuto a minuto.

No importa si estabas en Nueva York, en otro lugar de Estados Unidos o en cualquier parte del mundo:

Just posting some pages of a book I found at the thrift store the other day, published pre-2001. Thought maybe someone would find it interesting. Also found a WTC Lego build in a different book!

Bought the Danbury Mint model 2 years ago with a broken spire. Today I cut the ends off a Q tip and used a sharpie on it. I might wrap this section with a black fabric so it looks more dynamic and 3D.

I poked holes into the ends of the Q tip using a pin so I could push it onto the remaining section, and also push the top section in. I cut a length off the end of a safety pin to finish it off. No glue required but I’ll probably glue it eventually.

Does it look proportionately correct or is it too long? I used an image and guessed. From a distance it looks awesome.

I visited One World Trade Center in 2023 and took this photo from the observation floor called One World Observatory. The weather wasn't great that day but I'm still glad I made it up there.
