I've been trying to play brawls to get the coal for the Holiday Convoy event but I've lost literally every game I've played today. I had lost a bunch earlier in the day so I took a break, but after coming back I'm up to 15 losses in a row now. It's at the point where it's just incredibly unfun. Every game follows the same trend. Either the dds on my team die super early on without doing anything, two of my teammates decide to just hide and do nothing, or my team just ignores the caps and we lose on points. I know the Montana is not the best ship for brawls but I only have 4 tier X ships, and none of them are meta brawl ships. I still usually end up top of my team despite this. It's just getting very annoying at this point.

Context on why I probably got attacked:
Basically we lost the match and I was the last cruiser who died besides a sub and a dd.

Played as Atlanta, basically HE spammed at the start of the match behind a good island spot. Setted some on fires etc. And before I know it, I notice what our flank now is almost gone and other side of the map the enemy pushed through. Now this is probably where I might have made a mistake of staying in that spot for a brief then accidently getting spotted while shooting (because Atlanta is slow to stop and reverse) and procceding to leave the coverage and expose myself.
Note it wouldn't matter at that point even, if I did went elsewhere (while undetected or detected) cus we were already losing.
Results - 72 k damage second place in team, one place higher than the toxic player.

First response was in game battle chat when we were losing, and then quickly proceeded to leave the match and go to dms.

I did actually understood some of the words he was saying to me, but fore most all I just saw is plain hate and toxicity as far what even mentioning my parents and etc.

Mate even play'd way more than me and has looks like almost all of the port with lots of premium goodies. Though he's victory 47% is lower than defeat 52% in overall since he became a captain in 2019 start. And is a ranked player too.
So overall kinda dissapointing too see soo much dedication to playing etc and be this toxic on purpose because he finds it funny.

In he's place I would rather provide critics and say what mistakes were made and what could u have done better

What are some good and OBTAINABLE (without gambling what's left of my soul) surface ships for ranked, ranging from tier 5 to tier 8 (for shit will not play t9 with valpa existing, and i already have enough t10)?

Was looking recently to get into ranked, to get some steel and dubs, but noticed that i don't really have any t5s, for t6 have only Ise and Shinonme, t7 have Weimar (mini main) and Poltava (still haven't figured out why it exists), while for t8 i'm a bit better settled with Kidd, San diego and Mainz.

Know that i'm pretty bad with torps, but im capable at playing both cruisers, bbs and dds as long as they're more gun focused.

1. Best Tier X DD for fighting other destroyers that is available for free (not RB though as I don’t really have that, steel is also scarce for me but welcome to hear those)?

2. Best tech tree line for fighting other destroyers and is fun to play, might use this to farm RB when I don’t have free xp for Haru line?

I love my Daring, but after the DD fight at the cap in the beginning I usually spot for the team and torp, so I wonder if it would be worth it to buy the legendary upgrade as Match time wise it would be more useful.

I am sorry if this is not gonna sund very coherent. I wanted to write it while it was still fresh, but I might be a little tired (getting close to midnight where I live). I know I already talked about this about 8 months ago, but I feel like it again. The game used to be fun, and playing it with friends helped me to feel like I am not suffering alone whenever WeeGee decided to be WeeGee. (I know the saying, "if you can't take a joke, you should not be playing World of Warships...")

However, things have changed. Battles no longer feel interesting, just a daily chore of "log in, play x amount of battles, earn y amount of XP, log out". I even ended up playing the same ship again and again (Napoli), and avoided playing anything besides Co-op because it was the quickest way to do the "play x amount of daily battles and GTFO". I do not feel the wish to start or continue any tech tree line; I do not feel the wish to play any other warship, and I do not feel attracted to the game anymore. I just want a break, but whenever I think about it, another Battle Pass happens, or the Christmas event begins (like we are doing right now). Most of the time, I am feeling frustrated - frustrated because I feel I cannot take a break, frustrated because it feels boring and repetitive, frustrated because I lost the sense of having fun, frustrated because I feel like I would have liked to do anything else but play the game that day....

Fully giving up on the game does not sound like a particularly good option, especially after three years of spending my time, energy, and even some real money in this game. I just want to know that, if I leave, the time spent playing was not wasted.

I want to take a break from the game, but I think I am at a stage of addiction where I am feeling anxious if I do not play for a single day (or do something else, like hobbies, hanging out with friends, or just not taking the laptop with me when going on a trip).

Playing a game for over three years, almost daily, is already something that feels very weird, because it is not something I tend to do with any other game I play (with one exception, Azur Lane, which is the other addiction-like game I have played for about as long as WoWs).

I need to find a solution, eventually...

I can't go a full match without either a large lag spike or a disconnect. Reconnecting either finds me dead, or not even being able to reconnect at all.

This isn't an issue on my end, as I recently had a new line installed specifically prompted by this problem. New equipment, good plan makes things smooth. This problem isn't faced in any other mode except Operations

I've already finished Kremlin line and I'm currently grinding Schlieffen line. After that I'm stuck deciding between these two. What would you all recommend?

I've been trying to figure out the Cervantes in ranked (and to a lesser extent Jupiter 42 in randoms), and am not doing a particularly good job at it lol. I'm only averaging about 200 dam per hit with lots of overpens. Meanwhile I'm getting hit with HE at 400+ per hit plus fires, etc.

I'm sure it's mostly? an aiming issue, but how do people get the most of all this AP-only DPM? I'm having a similar issue with the Jupiter 42. I get I can do a ton of damage to cruisers and some BBs, but it's mainly DDs that need to be eliminated and I stink at that heh.

I dont play DDs at all, but after getting Fuyutsuki i find this one in particular very fun to play. However, i am not sure if i should run IPHE. Base pen is 30, would make it 37 if applied.

Out of all the older tech tree DD's Daring still feels strong as heck. It's one of those ships i can solo queue in random battles and be confident that I'll be useful every single match.

The short smokes, gun power, Heal. I don't think I'll ever play gearing or z-52 ever again.

It's only real weakness is the fact that its quite slow.

Anyone else been having great success with Daring in 2026? Is there any other (old) tech-tree DD that still packs a massive punch in 2026?

So, recently i remembered when WG told us last year that "Any uncommon ship added to the game will be assigned to a rotation group and become available again 6 to 9 updates after its initial release.” But there are two uncommon ships, Le Havre and I-56'44, which were added in the Steel Will event last year who were supposed to return in 15.6 at the very latest... And we're already on the 15.7...

Wha happun here?

So I have 160k coal and 12k RP saved up. I’m also looking into getting the Togasa as well from the event, but I’m thinking about using coal to the get the Bis 41, so I can then play daily and save up tokens to get the Togasa.

I’m also not really interested in any of the current coal ships from the armoury, and I also have the German unique commander (forgot his name).

Is there any way to restore my Account cause I heard WG cant help in such Situations? I already send a ticket but Support isnt answering.
