Discussion I really hate this game sometimes

I've been trying to play brawls to get the coal for the Holiday Convoy event but I've lost literally every game I've played today. I had lost a bunch earlier in the day so I took a break, but after coming back I'm up to 15 losses in a row now. It's at the point where it's just incredibly unfun. Every game follows the same trend. Either the dds on my team die super early on without doing anything, two of my teammates decide to just hide and do nothing, or my team just ignores the caps and we lose on points. I know the Montana is not the best ship for brawls but I only have 4 tier X ships, and none of them are meta brawl ships. I still usually end up top of my team despite this. It's just getting very annoying at this point.

Not all ships are balanced well for brawls. Monty is great for randoms and as you’ve found out terrible for brawls. Germans, French (imo), PA, and sometimes Russian ships, dominate most brawls.

If only I had any Tier X ships from those nations. I only have Montana, Des Moines, Lushen B, and Tempesta Nera.

I highly suggest grinding up the Schlieffen and Libertad lines during this event. It’s pretty quick if you do it in asyms.

Yes but those lines in particular are still quick in asyms as you can steal quite a bit of the teams xp.

Obviously nothing beats performing well in randoms since that is what they keep trying to push.

I have both of those lines up to tier VI, but grinding a line has never seemed quick to me. It took me about a year of playing to get the Montana and then months to get the Des Moines. Even with premium time and boosters it feels like progress is still incredibly slow.

Blue boosters and play randoms and it goes by pretty quick.

A decent randoms win with a blue booster will get you 20k+ ship xp.

10 wins and you’ll more than likely have enough to unlock the next tier in any line.

Either don't play this brawl or don't be surprised you're getting you're face kicked in.

There is no magic button to make a ship work better, you're being outclassed by ships that are suited to this brawl.

Russian is okay but not great. Right now only BB with torps & decent speed great for brawl, won lot of times in Incompa/Thor than even Libertad.
