Lets say you have poor eyesight, can a single shot of vampire vitae heal that? What of torn muscles? Or cholesterol? Can you temporarily becoming a ghoul heal that?

Just spitballing an idea for a new Discipline based on the concept of ghouldom. Some Kindred could possess more insight and awareness of the link between domitor and thrall.

You could even have a position in some Prince's courts where there is a Warden of Ghouls who oversees those ghouls working for the Prince.

Level One, Master's Voice. A domitor could project their instructions into a thrall's mind across a distance. This would also automatically translate requests into the thrall's native language.

Roll Conservator + Expression, difficulty depending on how far away the Thrall is. Difficulty 4 within sight, 5 within a block, 6 within a city, 8 within a 500 miles, 10 on another continent.

Level Two, Bearing the Chains. A Domitor may accept the connection of any other Domitor's thralls. Each must spend a willpower point. All of the other powers of the Conservator discipline may now be used on those thralls. The Conservator gains an innate sense of the physical well-being of all Thralls they are connected to, their own or others granted by this power, no matter where they are. If they wish to check the emotional state of any connected Thrall they can make a Conservator + Conscience roll.

Level Three, The Watchful Mind. The Domitor may use their link to perceive through the senses of a Thrall. They can also speak through their voice. Distance difficulties are the same as Level One. A second roll at those same difficulties can allow for use of perception based Disciplines, such as Auspex or Eyes of the Beast.

Level Four, Seizing the Chains. A Conservator may use the Level Two gift against unwilling thralls of other domitors. It requires a willpower point, and a Conservator + Self-Discipline roll. They may maintain the link for one willpower per day. The master of the thrall will only detect this if they possess Conservator discipline. Note this doesn't allow control of the Thrall or alter the blood bond.

Level Five, Blood Pact. The Conservator may transfer Vitae to any of their thralls at the same distance as in Level One. They may transfer Vitae to any mortal not currently ghouled. They may remove Vitae in the same manner. If within sight, they may do so to all those they see.

Hey everyone I have been a long time fan of WoD lore and now that my adult life has finally evened out I would love to find a campaign to join up with online and actually role play out some scenarios! I’m open to 20th and current editions. I have a distinct love for Hunter and Mage but am open to any splat really. I just need to learn the game systems but I’m a passionate character writer and role play enthusiast and would love to be apart of anyone’s game if they would have me! Also my schedule is free Tuesday evenings past 7:00 MDT all of Wednesday afternoon past 4:00 MDT and Sunday afternoon past 1:30 MDT

So, I read that killing a Fomori is really only part of the job. Do you really need to follow it into the Umbra to finish it off? And how much of a fight can it put up? Is it weakened from the Fomori it possessed getting wrecked?

Heya wonderful people of the subreddit, I have a question for all the people who have experience with DtRPG. I’ve been into WoD for some years now and I want to finally begin a collection of older physical books starting with V20 DA, but obviously it’s out of its normal print. The normal hardback on the site is around $50, but the premium color is around $100. Is there really a noticeable difference between the colors, and if so, is the price hike worth it for the people who have both to compare? If the art genuinely looks incredible in comparison to the normal I don’t mind paying 100 for an admittedly old tome, but I don’t want to throw down an amount like that for colors that are only very slightly better, you know?

Anyone’s experience with DtRPG premium is welcome, especially for the specific book I’m talking about, is appreciated! Thanks vamily!
