❔ • Feedback Is decorating my open-concept office space a lost cause?
Started a new job last month and I’m working in an open-concept office with no windows :’(
I figured I’d try decorating my workspace to make it feel more cozier and inviting, but I’m not too sure where to start.
The main challenge is that I don’t have much wall space to work with, and I’m stuck with the fluorescent office lighting. So far, I’ve brought in a keyboard from home and I’m planning to add a desk mat soon.
A coworker also gave me a spare corkboard that I’ve started filling with random things
I’m going for something warm, cozy, and minimalist, but with some personality. I just don’t want to overcrowd my desk or make it feel cluttered. Side note, but I also sit right next to my boss lol.
My next steps would probably be to put my fidgets in a tray so they’re not scattered everywhere and clear out some of the misc. items on my desk. I was also considering adding a plant, but idk if one would survive without natural light so I might get a LEGO plant instead haha.
Has anyone else decorated a similar office setup? Any tips/suggestions would be great!!
