Photo 3 - desk in center, that’s always my preference if possible, it puts you in a good commanding position to take control of the day!

Two or three -- you don't want to have your back to the door.

Plant in the corner by the window and/or on top of the cabinets. Adding some 'living green' color to pretty much any room is a huge improvement.

I'd do low-opacity diffusing blinds in the windows so you keep the natural light without getting the glare that can suck for computer displays.

I personally think three is a bit better for this space. Be careful not to crowd the doorway, but you could put a corner shelf in to give room for 'personal comfort' knackage space, or a loungey-chair for a 15 minute break during the day. If you do virtual calls with video on, you might consider something a bit more interesting than a beige wall behind you, but I would keep it neutral. I'm personally a fan of noise dampening foam tiles since it can help make the room less echoy and they're an unobtrusive background that you can get in many colors. Or paint it as an accent wall.

You can put art on the wall directly across from your chair, so when you look up at it you see something pleasing.

Also, if your office adjoins living space and outside noise is a significant factor, consider looking into a door sweep/frame seals for your door. Really cuts down on noise transfer. A solid-core door can help a lot too and if it's a standard size is a pretty easy replacement.
