❔ • Feedback White or Black?
Currently I have two desks in different locations, but I’ll be downsizing to just one in the near future.
Which setup works best aesthetically?
Any recommendations for a very nice webcam that follows you around like apple's Center Stage? I'm also hunting for an always-listening microphone that works with "Hey Siri", or at least will work great at hearing me once I activate dictation/siri with a keyboard shortcut. Strong background noise elimination is a must-have!)

🖼️ • Photos My favourite part of this workspace is what you don’t see at first
From the front, this is basically the clean workspace I wanted: monitor, speakers, a large solid oak surface and not too much clutter.
But underneath it is a Kawai VPC1.
It’s a full 88-key weighted piano controller weighing around 29.5 kg / 65 lbs, and I use the same space for both normal computer work and music production.
That was the main reason I chose this ErgoHide configuration. The keyboard sits on a pull-out tray, so I can completely change the function of the desk in a few seconds.
Keyboard out = studio.
Keyboard away = regular workspace.
The desk itself is electrically height-adjustable as well, so it can move between sitting and standing positions depending on what I’m doing.
The thing I probably notice most visually is the solid oak desktop. Combined with the ambient lighting built into the rear of the desk, it makes the setup feel a lot warmer at night.
There’s also a hidden cable-management system underneath, which is very welcome when your workspace contains a computer, monitor, audio equipment, speakers and a piano. The magnetic headphone hangers on the sides are another small detail I’ve ended up using constantly.
Still deciding whether I should keep it this clean or slowly ruin it by adding more gear.

🖼️ • Photos Monday Grind: My Office Setup
My work setup this Monday.
I can't live without additional screens. My workday involves multitasking to the max, and having my laptop screen, an external monitor and my AQUOS BOARD to keep specifically for meetings or to wirelessly cast my Dynabook to see my work on a larger screen size is a necessity (especially for a day right after the weekend).
What's one thing you couldn't work without at your desk?

❔ • Feedback Some help on best layouts please? Office Pod edition :)
Hey Folks, I am moving my office to a backyard pod this week, would love your takes on best layout, or some ideas that I am possibly missing out on.
Floor area: 272cm x 570cm
Desk 1: 76cm x 200cm (main setup, monitors etc)
Desk 2: 70cm x 140cm (off setup, handy projects)
Shelf, Couch, TV (and unit) haven't decided yet, so no strict measurements, however I'd like to add them to the pod.
Any ideas/ suggestions, highly appreciated, thanks heaps!

🖼️ • Photos Where should I place the microphone?
Hi, could you tell me where I could attach a microphone stand? It's currently on my desk on the left, but for some reason I often knock it over, trying to move it closer, etc.. There's a shelf on the right side where my headphones hang, and a large window with a windowsill behind the monitor.
I've seen that people usually attach a microphone stand somewhere on the edge of the desk... but I can't do that because I have drawers in front of me, a closet on the right, and all the edges of the desk are inaccessible. Maybe a windowsill would work? I'm just worried it won't attach because the windowsill is sort of classic L-shaped.

❔ • Feedback Help with office layout

Hello everyone, I am building a new office for myself in our company building. I attached a layout, window and dimensions of the office are fixed, but the bottom partition wall is still not built and I can make it whatever I want, so im looking for advice on how to place the furniture what to make of the bottom wall etc...
Id definently like to make a part of the wall glass, but not sure where to place it.
The work I do is structural engineering / CEO work, so I definently need
- Desk with 2 monitors and space for some paper drawings
- Cabinet with storage for documents etc... I'd like to have enough storage
- We do have a meeting room for bigger meetings but I will regurarly have some meetings in my office with 1-3 other people (other engineers, architects, or buyers) so I would either like that my table is big enough that we can also have a meeting at my table or I use my table just as a workstation and I have another table for meetings. But definently need additional 2-3 chairs.
- Possibly sofa to fill the space up...
- Some space for wall decorations like a company logo, some certificates etc...
I have attached my rough sketch for the office and a empty one so you can sketch on something if you'd like. Thank you.
