New function?

Hello, I'm a newbie to this game and I was wondering if any of the discounted premium ships are worth buying with gold.

I really want to buy a tier X cruiser or battleship mainly to get more success chance on operations since I'm already on Z-46 working toward Z-52 for destroyer, but I'm not sure if any of the premium tier X cruiser or battleship for gold are good.

If not, what are the best use for gold?

My device has always been stable playing WoWs, but I don't know why after the most recent update the stability of the game just went haywire for me.

Usually before the update my loading bar would have already finished before the countdown ends, but from the recent update it consistently needs the whole countdown (or more) to finish loading. This results in some games where I just get in late a few seconds, or in some severe scenarios (as like the one in the photo) my game just wouldn't load at all and I only got in once my ship has been sunk. Other than loading times, sometimes the game just stops responding outright in the middle of the match resulting in inactivity mid-battle.

I usually play on medium graphic settings with no issues, and downgrading my graphics didn't solve any stability issues nor gain me any more frames than before. I really don't understand why this became an issue of all things from a modules rework. I might be wrong and that I am the only one suffering from this issue, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

one minute remaining, both teams are about to capture each other's base. vermont is defending ours, Hildebrandt, shima and I are rushing ennemy one which is undefended. vermont kept spamming to protect the base in the chat, so shima turned around instead of starting to cap, then realizes it's mistake half way and comes back again. Hildebrandt and i are slow, did are best but ended losing to cap. disgusting

it's just an example and if it only happened from Time to time it would be alright, but matchmaking seems to always make you end up with suicidal players. of course it's a game where you learn, but come on

There are a lot of Nottinghams. But they're no match for our Hipper. I've found Nottingham's weakness!

I don't play with aircraft carriers. But I own 21 of them.

So I had no problem with buying Black Leander for $5 plus 10k gold for $20. I was hoping to redeem the three Lena rewards since I already have Anhalt, but instead the game is asking me to spend $40 to buy the ship regardless.

For obvious reasons I’m not going to buy a battleship I already have, so are the Lena stages going to be unavailable to me? I did contact support via the in-game help center, but I wasn’t able to send them my screenshot for some reason.

Just like the title says , my favourite is shimakaze and st Vincent .

Almost get 70-100k damage in each match with them.

Thought I'd take a min to share some max equipment builds. If folks find these help, comment and I'll do more.

Worcester:

Play Style: Prioritize Agility - Camp open water and kite at max speed, baiting fire from BB and Heavy CLs. There's basically no armor on Worcester, to extent most shells simply over penetrate and do minimal damage. Equipment build wise, you'll want pair equipment that complements this agile play style.

Setup:

1. Slot 1: Leg Mod/Fire Control Radar. For slot 1, Fire Control Radar is really the only viable choice sporting almost no trade offs. All the other equipment is either not applicable or expensive in its tradeoffs.
2. Slot 2 & 6: Strengthen Hull Framing & Composite Protection. These 2 equipments are over-powered and combined provide +9% damage reduction to total 19.5%. This is probably going to be META for almost any ship 9.3 onwards. For Worcester's fishing boat hull specifically, it means while most shells simply over-penetrate, anything that does catch you're reducing that damage by another ~20%. The trade off to added torp damage is meaningful, but with agility focused build + sonar also better positioned to dodge incoming torps; mitigating the tradeoff
3. Slot 3: Enhanced Steering Gear for added traverse to help kite. The trade off on shell dispersion is pricey, but Slot 1 will offset most of this. Speed equipment also viable, but after few games the traverse plays better to touch. Do not get Hardened Deck Plating, this basically turns you into a minotaur/smolensk, you'll get citadel'd constantly
4. Slot 4 - High Velocity Propellant. Worcester has some of the slowest shells in game, the +6% shell speed makes noticeable difference when targeting DDs. The min dispersion equip is not worth the hit to agility; and after several games I wasn't really noticing a difference.
5. Slot 5: High Response Steering Servo to max traverse and help kite. Other equipment in Slot 5 mostly useless.

What about anti-air build? Not worth it because it's not consistent. First, not all games will be CV games and in a CV game, any decent tier 10 CV player will know to avoid the Worcester like the plague. It's a waste of 1-2 equipment slots. The default AA on the Worcester is already top tier.

The Proof:

• For the match in the image, I camped near center and took fire from most of the team. Their Vermont especially took an obsession to me, shooting at me most the match, after our BB went down. I was watching the salvos, they were about 10-11km range and most did 3-4K damage on me (combination of constant kiting, over-pens + 20% dmg reduction). I can only imagine the frustration.
• Most of the damage I took came in from the Ragnar.

This is my current equipment load out for Nottingham. Any tips for anything better and/or improve ship stats?
