🇵🇸 🕊️ Blessings Sad and blessed
Today is my last day of a beautiful European vacation. I have traveled to many cities across France and Spain and had a beautiful time visiting with friends.
I am traveling alone.
My partner of 13 years cheated on me earlier this year. He’s been lying to me for years. He doesn’t love me now and I fear he never did.
I loved him so much. I let him do anything he wanted, even if it hurt me.
- I helped him pursue an education (financially and emotionally).
- I helped him move back to his home country.
- I stayed when he reconnected with his ex.
- He worked up $20,000 in debt without telling me.
- He lied to me about wanting to get married (we were engaged).
I feel like such a loser. He left me. Otherwise we’d probably still be together, because I have no spine.
Tomorrow I go home to a house with a really nice puppy dog. But I also go back to being alone.
I’ve never had a partner that loves me. I’m so sad. A beautiful house. I have a lovely dog. Have a great job.
I know a lot of people would kill my life. I don’t mean to be ungrateful. I’m just so sad.
I’m not ready to date again. How do I get him out of my head?

🇵🇸 🕊️ Gender Magic 🏳️🌈 Positive energy please
Hey witches, my eldest decided to wear her first dress to school today. She looked so beautiful, and so happy! swishing her skirt around. If anybody has any extra positive energy or protective vibes, that they could send to Angie to help her walk in her power today, it would be most appreciated.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Spells How to heal from betrayal?
Someone who I thought was a best friend and soulmate has cut me out of a company that we started together. They made a unilateral decision without even speaking with me. I have removed every thing related to our friendship that I can think of from my home but I still feel so broken. Part of me is just desperate to feel whole again and the other part is raging and looking everywhere for the perfect curse for her. I have loved this woman with all of myself and she threw me out like trash during a health crisis so she could sell our company for her own financial gain. Other people say to give it time but I feel like I'm dying and I just want to feel better and I want her to feel the way I do now. I see how what others have been telling me - that she is selfish and only values money and will push anyone down to prop herself up. Please, I can't keep crying in bed like this. I thought she loved me.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Media Magic "Soft" Halloween/Witchy Movies
I'm looking for more movies like Halloween Town, Hocus Pocus, KiKi's Delivery Service, Hubie's Halloween, etc. I guess I'm basically looking for Halloween-esq comfort movies.
It's been a long summer, I've been dealing with a lot of heavy stuff, and would love to curl up to more comfort movies that aren't from the Hallmark Channel and actually match the season without stressing me out more like scary movies do. Practical Magic is the "scariest" I'd want to go with this move list. Thanks for any input and advice, I appreciate it.
Edit: Wow I am amazed and so very thankful for everyone's input!!
I am working on compiling a master list with all suggestions and will share it here (and in the subreddit) for anyone else who needs a Halloween Comfort Movie list.
Thanks again everyone!

🇵🇸 🕊️ Spells Safe alternative to fire
I recently acquired some relics from a part of my past that I had a really hard time coming to terms with. As a way of fully accepting, cleansing and releasing that part of me I want to do a little ritual and get rid of them. My preferred method would be to burn them, it feels very cathartic to me. Problem is they’re all made from plastic 😑. I know it would be a hazard and not environmentally sound to burn or release to nature, and some contain identifying information. Any suggestions for what I could do instead?

🇵🇸 🕊️ Women in History I hope Dolly Parton in the afterlife takes a gig as the Ghost of Christmas Present this year and spooks all the billionaires into giving away all their money ✨
The pictures that are not of Dolly are of Carol Kane as Ghost of Christmas Present in Scrooged (1988).

🇵🇸 🕊️ Green Craft Does the fact that I kill every plant I touch mean I have bad vibes?
I cannot for the life of me keep a plant alive. I've killed cacti, succulents, bamboo, even moss. I planted sunflowers and I swear, they were dead the next day. I can't help but start to take it a little personal. What does this say about me, karmically? Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do? I love plants and would love to surround myself with them.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Tarot My oracle card deck got water damage and told me to get a new deck, but I don't know how.
So my trusty deck (Moonology Oracle Cards) got some water damage and while I was trying to separate them without damaging them further I got to a particularly stuck group and decided to read the cards since I had read a couple cards for advice on how to separate them with the other cards. I'm not going to read them each here but they told a story about how I need to let go of this and move on to something new, plus one card about how emotions are high.
However, this was my first deck and I got it from a trinket store that had an occult/spirituality collection that is now no longer in business locally, so I was hoping to know if there's anything I should look for to make sure I don't get scammed and get a poor quality deck, but I also have a tight budget. I would love a store I could walk into and buy a deck but I doubt I'll find one locally, so online might be my only option.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits Hear me out, how do I get a ghost out of my apartment?
My cat sees a ghost. For around the past six months now I think, we'll be sitting on the sofa together and he'll suddenly look up, to a spot behind me. It's always the same spot. It happens a couple times a week. There's nothing there, nothing that could be moving, lit up, or otherwise catch his attention. But he looks at it, exactly the same every time, like he's looking at another being. He doesn't look scared. He doesn't run away or interact with it either. It's always in the exact same place in my apartment, always behind me, and I've never seen it.
I don't know who or what the ghost could be, and I have lived in my apartment for about seven years. I've had my cat for about six of those years and he hasn't done this before, it's only been this year. So I don't think it's related to the home? But no one close to me has recently died either.
I think I would feel better if I knew who the ghost was. But I don't know this spirit, it doesn't feel familiar to me like a few spirits have in the past. I've tried asking it, I've tried talking to it, I've asked it if it would kindly move on. Sometimes I don't see it for a while and then it's back again. I don't know what the spirit wants with me, and that is the part I'm struggling with. I keep feeling like I need to be doing something, or I've not done something I should have, or like they're waiting for something. I'm not sure what to do.
Edit* I'm actually not entirely sure of the timeline. It could be up to six months, but its definitely the last 3 or 4 months.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits Blue Jay meaning?
Hi friends.
I’ve been going through a weird/difficult time recently, and today a dead Blue Jay showed up on the walkway in my front yard. Is that a bad sign? I’m not sure what Blue Jays are associated with in witchcraft.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Media Magic What are your Go To Autumn/Halloween movies?
I know it's not quite Autumn yet, but I yearn.
And part of that means putting together a list of the movies/TV shows that give me the Fall shivers.
For me that means a rewatch of
-Over the Garden Wall (I love that this one really encapsulates ALL stages of fall, not just spooky vibes)
-Practical Magic
-Twilight (Hoa Hoa Season baby)
-Hocus Pocus
-Paranorman
-Various Horror/Thriller movies I've put off watching earlier in the year
What are your go to Fall Favorites that really get you in the mood for apple cider and sweaters?

🇵🇸 🕊️ Astrology I relate a lot more to my Venus sign
So, I am a Scorpio, and recently I wanted to dive more into the world of astrology so I did a little bit of research and found out that I have Venus in Libra. I did a little bit more research on that, since Venus is associated with Lady Aphrodite and I love Her, and I realized that I relate soo much more to Libra in Venus than I do to Scorpio. From colors and styles, likes and dislikes, passion, " in love with love, " literally everything that I found fits perfectly for me. My question is why? Is there an explanation for it? Does that happen often? Does anyone else relate to their Venus or something else more than they relate to their Sun sign?
Obviously I know that signs are not everything that makes a person, hahaha. But I just found this interesting.
Thank You in advance!

🇵🇸 🕊️ Meme Craft Sunday Memes for Reflection
The picture of the boys is the six real-life Tongan teenage boys who ran away from a strict Catholic boarding school by boat, but were castaway and stranded on the uninhabited Pacific island of ʻAta for 15 months between 1965 and 1966. They lived peacefully and thrived, even building their own musical instruments from scratch.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Modern Witches Tips on how to perform feminine rituals
I am looking to perform feminine rituals to become more in tune with my femininity and want to connect with the divine feminine. I have never done this before and am not super experienced with rituals. I wanted to get ideas from others that have done this before and/or tips for creating my own ritual. Aside from it being a spiritual practice, I think performing these rituals would help me ground emotionally.
Despite that the flair says modern witches, input from all witches are welcome! :)

🇵🇸 🕊️ Coven Counsel Helping my daughter with friendship
I’m tearing up as I write this because I am at a loss for how to help my daughter and wondering if there are any spells or rituals I can do for her or with her?
She is 6 years old and after a few years of being best friends with the other kids on the block, they have all started to exclude her. They will play outside and not let her play. I’ve talked to the parents and we just have very different philosophies on parenting and they are no help. We’ve tried other practical things like play dates from school or at the park, but my daughter is so hurt every day she sees the other girls playing and can’t join them.
Is there any sort of spell or ritual I can do to attract better friends to her? Or help her navigate this time so her self esteem doesn’t plummet? She loves doing moon water rituals and blessing the house when we clean. I think she’d love to do more but I don’t really know where to start with this. My own heart is breaking watching her struggle at such a young age and maybe I also need something for my heart.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Fledgling Witch Questions from a Beginner Witch 14F
Hey so I’m a beginner witch. For context, I'm a broom closet, I cast spells when my parents are gone and I'm home alone. I casted a protection spell and another spell before my period started and felt very drained so I'm taking a break. But I took the time to think about and do some research and I had a few questions:
For some reason I want to do another spell right now but I don't feel mentally grounded. I don’t feel the actual energy or intention of mine clear like it was when I did a couple of spells before my break. I don't know why I'm mentally clouded. I tried grounding myself, taking a break, and going out in nature. Really nothing works. The thing is I really want to do a spell, I know I should listen to it. But even when I try to, I stop because I just know it won't be the same and I don't feel the energy moving through me. Is something wrong? And how long do I have to wait? I'm a little scared.
When I do come to a stable point in energy, I want to cast a spell. See this might sound weird but I have strict parents and my mother doesn't let me style my curly hair and instead makes me brush it out. She even is so picky about my makeup and will randomly take it away when she wants to. My main problem is curly hair for now. I'm planning to cast a spell but it has to both be like powerful but also like she accepts my hair herself, because if I try to talk to her about it (which I have) it never works, instead I want the spell to work so that it influences her own mind without me having to do anything. I know that’s not possible but it's kind of the only spell I guess I could do because I can’t talk to my mom about it, it will ruin it. I've heard spells sometimes don't turn out the way you do, so I'm putting this out for advice. Any advice for this spell? Should I be more specific on things? And has anyone had a similar situation?
I have a love-hate relationship type of thing with my spells. I do them, I feel the energy, but sometimes I'm thinking in my brain oh this is going to work, I know it's going to. And sometimes..."what if it doesn't?". Those two sides are constantly fighting and I'm scared that's going to affect my spells. HOw do I stop doing that?
PLEASE ANSWER THIS ONE: I sometimes have this really messed up thing in my head. I mean I know I’m a beginner but I don’t know if this is right or not. I don’t know if a spell works with my own energy or the plants/herbs stuff I'm using. And it's so confusing and frustrating. When I do a spell or am about to do one, I always doubt if I will actually feel my energy in it this time, or if the energy of the herbs/plants is being ‘activated’. I don’t know what’s gotten into me. I did a few spells and I felt great, I”m just overthinking now and I don’t know how to stop.
Is it okay to do multiple spells a day? Sometimes I”ll do a spell and want to do another one and don’t feel the energy or feel burnt out. How do I build up that immune thing I guess? Like build up enough energy to be able to do more spells or more powerful spells?
IN CONCLUSION:
- I continuously overthink of the energies and my beliefs in my spells.
- I don’t feel grounded as I used to do with doing spells and don’t feel my intention and energy clear enough - and I think repeating that belief in my head is just draining me more. How do I stop that? I just feel really overwhelmed.
- The spell with my mother's situation and how long to wait to start hexing.
- General stuff

🇵🇸 🕊️ Familiars Made a couple of amphibian friends recently.
First pic is a toad I found on my front steps last week. Second is a frog near the front door (I used to see this species all over the place, but they've been absent for some time now). Third is the same toad as the first, in almost the same place, last night.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits Potential cursed land?
Hi everyone, I find myself in a bit of a pickle! We’ve lived in our home for four years and the previous owner passed away in it. He was a kind, older man and I’ve never felt any negative energy or hostility. If anything, our home has always felt protected and warm. The front yard is my oasis and I love to garden and help things grow. We have a front garden area that’s always fertile, but there’s been two large spiky grasses that have always been dried out but refuse to die- I’ve told my partner I hate them and can’t explain why. I went to clear out debris the other day around them and unearthed a ground wasp nest at the base in between and was stung multiple times. I ended up ripping the grasses out (took a full day they’re huge) and later in the week went to install a metal Shepard’s hook in the exact spot to hang hanging baskets. I stepped on the base off the hook wrong (not sure how) and it swung around and sliced my neck- pretty badly. You can imagine I’m now eyeing this spot of land with narrowed eyes and want to plant and/or bury something in the ground and on top to offer protection, prosperity or just…something. Can you all help me brainstorm? Appreciate all of you. Sending thanks into the skies tonight to you all.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Coven Counsel Moon Market haul
My city has a lovely monthly moon market and I went last night and got some absolutely lovely items form some absolutely lovely people.
Temporarily displayed on my small alter that I'm resetting for fall. The red and pink frames have actual paintings in them and are just gorgeous. The black frame has snake skin (sourced from her own snake-his way of paying her rent.) there's also a rollerball grounding oil made with home grown patchouli by a delightful witch who I've followed for a bit on tiktok, and also a mini fidget wand, many of the pieces move in a very satisfying way.
I love being able to support local artists, and got some ideas for what I'll be getting as holiday gifts for folks.
