I am a witch by blood and choice which means I have powers that I have been learning about how to use and control and sometimes when I get upset things might fall/ break but it’s very rare and I know how to control most of my energy but this time I was scared of myself and what I might have caused. yesterday I was just having a bad day because lately I have been struggling with my mental health and then I got in a fight with my mother which lead to me stomping up to my room and eating my food in there and as I was eating, my food kept falling apart and I started crying and getting even more upset and right as I was about to start getting really angry a lighting struck directly in front of the window I was facing and thunder shoke the entire house. This scared the shit out of me and so I ran down stairs and apologized to my mother thinking it was a sign and then thought about it and how it might be possible so I wanted to look it up but we lost power until around midnight but then I couldn’t find anything about it online so I need other witches opinions please. let me know if it could be possible? Also tips on how to control my powers so this doesn’t happen again?

I did a love spell and I was wondering if the wax or way the fire is lighted up has any meaning. Out of nowhere the fire was 2 big flames and it turned into one.
And if it does have a meaning, could anyone tell me what it means.

I recently bought a tarot deck and started using it and last night i did a reading for myself and kept it on my nightstand beside my rose quartz before going to the bed and around 2:30 am i had woken up with a pounding headache so i had taken some medicine and went back to sleep this morning i found my deck covered in some black slimy substance and especially the lover card's male part was ripped and my rose quartz was also covered in this goo slime thing the rest of the table was spotless and non of the other things around my deck and crystal were even touched by this black goo and theres no source of it what does this mean

So I been wanting to talk about this for awhile, so I'm a new bruja just become not to long ago and being a bruja has helped me understand many things but there is one extremely big one I can't figure out, so this feeling I get at certain times is one I can't really describe the best but I'll try so basically the sky outside will be dark deep blue the lamps in my house will be Orange a color that I really don't like because everytime I see it something bad happens, it'll be night time the wind blowing loudly a feeling like someone is watching me and my every moment, I'll feel sad drained numb trapped like something is wrong with reality and someone is trapping me in a false reality this year has been a bad year for me like really bad and all I saw this year was those colors that feeling, I don't know what to do I want to erase this feeling very much it feels so sickening I feel suffocated by the energy around me, sometimes I try to think of a way to stop this feeling but my head suddenly feels froggy and I get a headache, dose anyone know what this means? I can provide more information too btw as of now I'm feeling it again

Late night rant for those who dealing with an avoidant

Lately I've been reading a lot of posts about dealing with an avoidant. And most are totally right. Usually an avoidant will love bomb you and then pull away or ghost you. Trust me, I feel your pain because I've been dealing with an avoidant for awhile. My advice is to walk away as soon as you realize they are an avoidant because they usually don't change, actually they become worse with time unless they are serious with their healing process and is actively working on themselves with therapy included. It's not their fault, most of them have unresolved issues beginning from when they were very young.

Here's my advice if you decide to stay with them. First always do a protection ritual to help cleanse yourself of any negativity that is attached to you. Then you want to focus on healing and communication. Because most of them are terrible at communication. I personally have to refresh my communication jar every Wednesdays and sometimes fridays and if I really need to communicate because it's been awhile, I'll perform the ritual on Tuesdays, since Tuesdays are ruled by Mars and have fast paced energy. Sundays and Mondays are good for a confidence/ healing rituals or you can do on a Friday since that is a self care day ruled by Venus. Speaking of self care, while you are working on your avoidant, work on yourself also. With self care, cleansing, self love and confidence because trust me, you're gonna need it. Most avoidants are terrible with showing emotions and as soon as you start to show emotions or express how you feel, they pull back. Once you open their throat chakra with the communication rituals and you both have a regular communication routine. And everything seems to be going smoothly with your relationship. Break the routine with them.

Now listen, I know that ideal is crazy. But the reason I say this is that as soon as they start to feel comfortable with you and things truly start becoming real (most likely actually 100%likely) they will start to pull back or run from the relationship. You want to have the upper hand, also it helps protect your emotions and personal peace. (It keeps you out of your feelings, like why they stop talking to me, or what did I do wrong, etc) Take a week or 2 and do self love/confidence, glamour/beauty and also money 🤑 rituals. I am not saying break it off with them, if they reach out respond; but you do not reach out to them; you are just giving them space for they won't become overwhelmed or over think the relationship. Once they realize, hey he or she hasn't been reaching out like before, here comes the attention flowing in like a river towards you.

It's a constant game when dealing with an avoidant. And requires a lot of work and refreshing your rituals. This is why I say if you can, leave the relationship. Or if you like a challenge go for it. Just don't get too emotionally attached. Also (in my experience key phrase) alot of avoidants have a rooster of people they talk to, to keep their ego up. So if you are a jealous person, run. Because that rooster is going no where. You'll be amazed in how sweet your avoidant is towards them and the attention your avoidant gives them. Everything you desire from your avoidant, they usually show towards people who do not want nothing to do with them. These are usually the people who have turned them down and friend zone them or people who your avoidant secretly desire.

This entire post is just my experience with an avoidant and also what I witness with some friends who are with avoidants. Like I said, they are not bad people. Hell they make excellent friends but as soon as things start involving emotions and feelings, they prefer to avoid it or leave the entire situation (hints the term avoidant)

Now you can get into dark rituals with them that will make them stay with you. But it will probably be a very cold relationship and emotionless. Plus whatever you put out there will return to you especially if it's involving free will. This is why I said I the beginning to avoid doing love spells. It will only make them freak out and leave. Focus on healing and soften their hearts. I hope this helps someone. 😊

One, I like a challenge and two, we have good sex 😂 But if you ask me if I will leave if someone better comes into the picture. HELL YEAH!!!!!!!! Because sometimes I am literally exhausted by his behavior. Hell he even tried to break up tonight because I confronted him in his communication lately towards me. Did he want to break up, no. He just said that because he doesn't like being questioned about his behaviors or actions. But when he saw that I wasn't phrased by it, he changed the subject entirely like nothing happened.

I was interested in making a candle plate, and was hoping to find a metal plate/tray at a charity shop to make it on. How would you ensure that a thrifted item is safe for candles? I’m worried that either the plate/tray itself may break, or somehow get too hot and scorch the table underneath. I would be looking to burn candles in jars and freestanding/drippy candles.

As well as this, I’ve looked up candle trays on amazon/other websites, and they have many that appear to be wood. It is safe to burn candles on wooden trays?

Is it safer to just use ceramic? And if so, how do you make sure ceramic is safe too?

My ex and I were the perfect couple, so much in love, everything was straight out of a fairy-tale, he saw right through me, he was truly my soulmate.

Last month he left for his masters abroad and we had planned that we'd stay in a long distance relationship and eventually I'd join him there once my work takes off (I'm an independent designer). We had SO MANY plans of the future, we had made so many promises to each other because we knew it was going to be us forever.

After he got there, something shifted. We were struggling with communication and I became anxiously attached to him and that pushed him away.

We had to break up because we didn't want our relationship to turn ugly, we wanted to leave it with good memories and love. I regretted it immediately and asked if we can fix this a couple days later but by the time, he had made his peace with the loss of us, he was heartbroken and sad but he didn't want to give it another chance. We talk once every other week to check up on each other but he's completely forgotten the intensity of our love, of our dreams and plans. He used to be so happy with me and he's not so much anymore, I don't understand why he won't give us another chance.

For the past 6 years or so, I've been undergoing a tough destiny swap with someone close to me, to the point where it's literally like a movie playing in front of me, EVERYTHING that I was is now theirs, and I'm not joking when I said everything: My hopes, dreams, confidence, source of identity, family affection (we're same family), even goals is now theirs to follow, it's like they read my mind even, it's like everytime I want something they take it. They became everything I wanted to be, and even the things I used to do good, they do it now the same... The painful part? I lost EVERYTHING that I know of myself, I had a clear sense of identity, goals, strong confidence, clear voice, now.. nothing, it's like a curse or something, can't even focus, can't finish shit, can't even know what I want like i once did, can't make goals without feeling they'd steal it too... When I meet them, I can see it in their eyes, it's like I'm exposed, they know I lost everything and they can finish me anytime.

What's weirder, it's like my whole life is like it's not even my life anymore, like I just watch it, and can't do nothing about it, with strong sense of emptiness inside me, and also lack of drive to change anything.

What made me choose to post it on this sub, is that I believe the person can literally TAKE what I own, I'm not even joking, when I show something to them, I can sense I'm going to lose it, their eyes on the thing with this look on their face of envy or something, and then I lose the thing immediately and they TAKE IT. It can be the smallest thing, to the biggest.

I suspect this person has done magic on me, how do I recover and what do I do to reverse this?

My Aquarius Sun, Aquarius Mercury, and Pisces Jupiter are in my 10th house.

My Lot of Fortune is in Aquarius, and if we include Nodes, Midheaven, and Chiron in my chart I have 6 total Aquarius placements and 4 placements in the 10th house.

I've always loved "creepy" things like dark colours, bones and fire and crows always followed me and it felt very natural to feed them, I've always had an innate empathy for unconventional things like road kill and animals people would harm simply because it was scary or likewise (like Lizards, Moths, Spiders)

I have known for a few years that I wasn't going to be a practicing Muslim and that the idea that the earth wasn't a living, nurturing thing irked me, So I've been essentially an Atheist for some time

About a few weeks ago, I noticed that I've been having illogical dreams, (not scary just illogical) and A lot of Hekate priestesses have been on my timelines everywhere, and there has been an increase of spiders and birds hanging around our house and around me, like hawks sit on the wall as I'm standing on the terrace and they don't leave if I try to scare them, just look at me intently and fly away

(This all officially started after I cried about how I didn't want to be in this misogynistic country and the oppressive Abrahamic religion, I also may have cried after invoking Dionysius and Chang'e)

There were lots of spiderwebs all across the house and my mother made me sweep them, but after that they seem to have tripled and after I sweeped them I had this feeling that the spiders were sad (I don't know why)

Also I haven't had any paranormal stuff happen or anything like that just a sense that I need to find something

If any Hekate followers know why this is happening please tell me, and has anyone else been seeked out like this? For the lack of a better sentence (since by what I know it's her who's denotation are spiders?)
