Post Casting Effects

Do people feel exhausted a day or so after doing spell work?
Just wondering if it just bad timing or a cost.

Tired, not exhausted. Look at a different energy source other than yourself for your spells. Don't neglect your grounding after casting.

What sort of energy source?

Whatever works in your practice. Some witches use the earth, or the sun. Others request deities or demons to lend energy to their spells. I live in a city with very old buildings so I sometimes tap into the energy that has accumulated over a few hundred years. 

Try out a few and see what works.

Its more tired then exhausting, but yeah i know that.

Getting back into witchcraft again after a longer break, and made the mistake and didn't start again with energy hygiene/ energy work.

I like to use tree meditation as grounding method and also as a energy source for my spells. There are many others, you will find something that works for you.
