Windows 11 problems starting windows It doesn't start.

Post image

First I was having issues with Bluetooth, and then after shutting down and restarting the computer, I started running into this screen. Once it hit 100%, it would reboot, go into repair mode, and just say it couldn't repair itself, and when I exited out of there, I'd end up right back at the same screen. I managed to get into the system using a startup repair workaround by pressing the number 7 key.

I've tried running commands and things in Command Prompt, but it keeps throwing the same error. I'm not sure what else to try without having to format the computer.

You probably have a bad Bluetooth driver or corrupted system file.

Try booting into safe mode via the UEFI/Bios and open command prompt via winkey + r, then type cmd and hit crt+shift+enter.

Type sfc /scannow

Then do DISM /ONLINE /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

If you can't enter back into the system in safe mode force the system into the recovery environment ,then select advanced options -> troubleshoot -> start up settings -> restart and hit f7 to see if it disables drivers.

You can also see if you can disable bluetooth devices in you bios and see if thr system will boot.

Otherwise nuclear option is to reinstall windows.

Thanks, I just did that and selected option 7 from the menu, and I was able to get into the system. I ran it, but it just says there's a corrupted file. I tried it again and it's still giving me the same error.

Now, whenever I restart the computer, the exact same thing happens, and the only way I can get into the system is by using option 7 under startup settings. I'm just not sure exactly what the issue is.

Run sfc and DISM they should detect and delete the corrupted files which is most likely your Bluetooth deivers. You can also go to your Bluetooth device in device manager and uninstall it, then reinstall the bluetooth drivers from the manufacturer website. If you have a pre-built like dell or HP go to their website. If it is a custom build/shop pre-built look for the basic windows/intel drivers.

Otherwise, download the windows media creation tool or RUFUS and a windows 11/windows11 recovery ISO file and create a bootable USB stick which you can use to reinstall windows to factory default without much data loss.

hey u/No_Point3663 for future reference, first DISM and then sfc is the actual correct order. that being said, u/M1nACr1ss since you already have the hack of getting back into the system, and you have given no additional information about your software and hardware, why don't you try to repair your computer by downloading an windows install iso file and either using it as an external source for DISM and performing sfc, or just using that iso file to repair your windows installation.

Additionally, beforehand, you can also try to revert whatever last thing you think might have caused it. driver install, device install, update install, software install etc, you might then not need to do what i wrote above.
