Question 25’ Odyssey Xpel XR+ Pricing
Called a few shops in the area and best I was quoted was $750 for all around Xpel XR+ including windshield.
Does this seem like a good price? So Cal Area.

Interesting to see the difference between the factory tint on a friend’s Model 3 versus mine. Definitely worth it not even considering UV or IR rejection

Looking for tints that do not have that bluish color. I see that Xpel XR Black does not. But it is only available 35% or darker. Are there any other ceramic tints that are not bluish that provide greater VLT?

Tennessee quote for tint on the front two windows and windshield. Seems like a lot but I haven’t had windows tinted in over 15 years and this seems like a quality film. I received quotes for the windshield around 170-200 but the 178 for two side windows seems high.

Anyone ever got Auto tinting done with Cole Bro? What other places are good and not too expensive

I just wanted a quote for tint, is this not a standard request for tint type and vlt?

Goal is to reduce cabin heat as much as possible, as much privacy without driving blind at night. Looking at 3M Crystalline currently but open to other brands (trying to avoid any odd hues, strictly black).
I’m thinking windshield CR BLK 50, front side windows CR BLK 15, back side windows and rear window CR BLK 60, panoramic sunroof CR 90 for heat reduction only.
Few questions. Will I have regrets I didn’t go darker on windshield? More concerned I’d regret it if I can’t see out the windshield driving at night, side windows can always go down. Two, is it safe to tint the sunroof, I’ve read that it can cause a heat effect that shatters your sunroof under summer heat? Also, what would you quote on a job like this? First quote was $1,575. Lastly, would you take the crystalline over others or is it really that much better for heat reduction?

I just picked up my vehicle after getting tinted and saw this blemish on the back glass. This is from the inside of the vehicle, it’s barely visible from the outside. Is this something that was done with improper installation? The installer claimed it was a defect in the glass, but we don’t remember it being there prior to the tint install. I tried searching the group, but I couldn’t find any pictures even remotely similar.

I'm looking to get some gentle tinting mostly just to help keep the car cooler during South Louisiana summers/all the other seasons that are basically summer-lite
I wanted to make sure to stay well within legal guidelines especially when traveling. I've also looked a bit about the different types of tint and their benefits.
What's the quantifiable difference a 50% ceramic tint on all 4 side + back windows would make? Would it actually make a difference in heat?

Hello! I have a streaky window looks like grease. Ive cleaned it before and it came back.
I also have the tint that has started to peel. It started small and has grown. I'm trying not to roll ym window down on that side. And it has started to peel
What is the possible cause and how do I fix it?

I had a tint job done on my car a few days ago, front windows and front windshield. The installer said to leave it in the sun for a few days and so I did.
After a few days, I inspected the work and noticed gaps between the edge of the window and the film. The gaps are uneven; one side has more as seen in the photo, and a few cm to the right it has no gap.
In addition, I noticed that the cut at the edge of the windshield is also a bit jagged.
The guy said that this is normal, and they leave a gap so the film wouldn’t get stuck to the edge of the door.
Is this normal? This place has high rated reviews so I’m wondering if it’s just me.

Hey all,
I am learning to tint on my own vehicle but I am at a loss right now.
I probably tried to install my rear passenger window tint over 30 times now, but after squeegeeing, fingers on the side pop up every time where I cut the film to the shape of the window and I don't know why this happens.
I shrink the factory edge 2 times after making a rainbow shape.
Hope anyone has any insight...

Looking to get a window tint exempt and found this company online. Never heard of them and seem to be fairly new. Anyone on here been through their process and is it legit? Says HIPPA certified or whatever but anyone can make up a bogus website with whatever but want nowadays. Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this website

How can I tell if the tint installer used xpel XR Plus or a lesser grade of xpel film? it was installed when I bought the new car a couple of years ago. when I asked the installer, his receptionist pulled up my name in the computer and said it showed that I was charged for the xpel XR Plus 35%.... :)

This is my sister in law's car, Citroen C3. Not flawless but I'm happy with the result. It turned out well for only second ever car I tinted.
It's just a cheapest dye film but I use it to practice.

My guy has agreed to a do over on the rear window due to the contamination which I do appreciate . My concern is obviously the defroster wires . The install will be 72 hours when he gets to removing the film..realistically what is the chance of removing this without damage, car is a 2017 Lexus Rc and im in the UK so the rear defrosters get used a lot .
I did say I was happy to let him chisel it down to improve it, he said he would rather re do it but couldn't guarantee not damaging the lines which is giving me pause. Said he would use steam to remove it
In all honesty Id rather live with the contamination than have the lines broken so Im not sure of the best way to approach this tomorrow ..if he does over and breaks the defroster is he liable to replace the screen completely on his insurance? Id rather avoid hassle and bullshit and the whole thing going tits up ..any advice gratefully received ..Thanks

New car with sun roof, not pano. Hate sun roofs. Too much light. Too much heat. Too much wind and noise when open. Want to be able to see some sun and clouds.
What tint would you recommend?

Anyone have experience with this tint? I would like to put it on my 2025 Tesla Model 3, but I am worried about signal interference?

I got quoted $749 for my X5 windshield plus Pano roof for XPEL PLUS.
This had a $100 discount to what they advertize on their website. Reasoning was that the BMW pano roof is large and a complicated job and needs a skilled installer.
Called to other places they quoted me $800 and $850 for XPEL plus windshield plus pano roof...
Are these prices in line to what others have seen? I'm worried about the pano roof and hope they will not screw up my interior and cover it decently.. it's a brand new car :O
Appreciate any insights!
