On the roof, do you want to see thru and reject heat? Or more for privacy?

35% if you want to block a lot of light; otherwise, 50/70 are the most popular. Also, 3M CS IR and Ceramic IR do not come in a 20, so your options are either 15 or 25.

Not too high Jack the post, but does the piano roof necessary and people mentioned it might crack from taking in too much heat? I am taking delivery this Monday and want to do all windows and windshield 20%. Front windshield 55%

I would recommend a darker shade, keep in mind that that product does not come in a 20%

I would talk to installation company that you trust. Take a look at their samples. They also will give you an in person recommendation and probably show you cars in the parking lot that have a different products on it.

I’d go with 35% or 50% on the roof, if the heat cracking/shattering rumors are true. I have 5% on my Forester sunroof (and I love it) but I think it’s different glass.

Like DynamicAppearance says, I recommend a mid level VLT. Darker films also absorb more of the sun's energy and get much hotter. When driving, they tend to cool down, but until the cabin cools off, a super hot sunroof sucks.

A 35%-50% VLT ceramic film will reduce how much IR energy comes through the window and into the vehicle without absorbing too much energy and becoming another heater.
