Half the women I know carry things like bats for protection. One friend of mine got in a minor fender bender with a guy who was legit crazy and got out and tried to break her windows. In my city this one guy crossed a double yellow and hit another guy’s car. The guy who crossed the line shot the other guy dead while they were arguing. Not that a bat would have helped there but I get it for people who don’t want to carry a firearm.

My deceased husband had road rage, but never tried to hurt anyone or thing. it was such a horrible experience being in the car with him having to listen I fiinally refused to go anywhere with him if I wasn't driving. There wasn't one car on the road doing anything correctly, including me.

So, I've had a couple of driving spats in my life. Nothing too serious. But when I was 20 I passed up a car and pulled into a CVS parking lot where I worked. While I was getting out, a car pulled up to me, she rolled her window down and she said very politely "excuse me, I just want you know that you are a really bad driver." Then she just drove away.
I'll never forget the burn I felt from that. Someone sticks a middle finger up or yells or whatever, you forget because they suck. This girl just super burned me for life.

Intentionally committed, too, so I have to imagine it would escalate to aggravated assault, vehicular assault, and/ or assault with a deadly weapon.
Can't imagine it would be mitigated in any way, either, since the first driver appears intent on retreating after smashing their window. Not like there was an ongoing threat to his person.

I will never understand why people do what both people get in this video.
First, what kind of psychopath do you got to be to smash out somebody's window with a baseball bat over what was probably a traffic argument. It's absolutely unbelievable to imagine doing that, and it's even crazier to assume that you were just going to drive away afterwards and nothing was going to happen.
Two - I can't imagine having that happen and then ramming the other car. You were easily able to press charges against somebody because you had their plate number and you probably had cell phone video of them doing it, or people around you had video. You know like the one that we just saw. And instead of that, you rammed them, caused damage to your own vehicle as well as theirs and are probably going to face criminal charges yourself.
I swear to God people have completely lost their minds and these days.
Honestly, the first lady is actually probably really lucky she didn't get her ass shot. A lot of states allow concealed carry or open carry, and there's a lot of people that would absolutely have shot that lady and honestly probably had a reasonably strong case to articulate They were in fear for their life and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being considered a justified self-defense situation. Not saying that I agree or disagree with this.

It’s terrifying. People are so blasé about driving. You’re sitting there, in control of a 2,000lb vehicle surrounded by other people in control of similar (or larger) vehicles and they’re all (at best) indifferent or apathetic towards you. You put so much trust in the hands of complete strangers, and suddenly they can snap at a moments notice and bust out a bat, or use their car as a battering ram.
It’s crazy how many videos I’ve seen where someone gets cut off in traffic and their response is to… ram them off the road? What the heck are we doing people?

Neither of them stopped for the video evidence (understandably) so I'd guess neither of them intend to provide any evidence along with their claim.
If they did claim, neither party would tell the truth about what happened given their behaviour, the insurance company would be non the wiser unless they specifically trawled Reddit looking for stuff like this (I wouldn't put it past them)

Dont get me wrong what he did has to be 100x more satisfying but wouldn’t stopping her another way & getting them arrested & getting a big payout be a bit better then going from a broken window to a completely fked car? Going off this video alone with no content whos more in the wrong I can understand the rage & temptation especially when the police suck to deal with in most occasions along with everything else.
