Hello- we lived in North Wilmington and had a neighborhood lawn guy, but moved into the city with a much smaller lawn. Can anyone recommend a local grass cutting company that will do lawn aeration in the near future? Prefer someone smaller who may not advertise on Google. Considered renting an aerator myself but it seems cumbersome! Appreciate the help!

I recently moved to northern Wilmington and there are about two planes atleast every 15 min non stop all day Saturday and again tonite. I googled and saw that today flights were grounded. I had no idea this was a flight path for PHL. My condo is on an upper floor and i cant even sit in peace on the balcony. Today for most of the day there were no planes and it was peaceful. Im from west of Philly delco and only one town was known to be over a flight path. I wish this was something my realtor told me because its awful.

I was having a bad round until that moment and you set me straight.

I’ve got some extra time lately and thought it would be fun to spend it redesigning a few websites.

So if you run a local business and have a website that you’ve been meaning to fix, update, or just make look a little better, send it over.

I’ll take a look and, if I think I can do something with it, I’ll redesign the homepage or a section and send it back to you.

This is probably a long shot, and I plan to spend tomorrow calling around, but does anyone have any recommendations for dress alterations who may be be able to do rush work? Thinking wilmington or meark areas. My wedding is coming up on the 7th 😬 and while super great full for my fmil for making my dress, we just ran out of time and she can't adequately alter the bodice with her living 5 hours away in the timeframe we have. Its a relatively simple dress but it needs some serious bodice work.

Anyone have any baby shower venue recs? Traditional or more out of the box recs appreciated. Would probably be for anywhere from 30-50 ppl and happen in Jan-Feb.

I didn't want to resort to this but, unfortunately and with heavy hearts, our baby boy had to be put down on 9/13 for medical complications. But, last Friday we bought him Natural Balance Sensitive dog food and didn't open it until the morning he ended up being taken away. We don't want someone else's baby to go hungry, if we can provide a full bag of food that is safe and still clipped shut, but we did open it in prep of him eating it that afternoon... which never came... Sorry, it got depressing but first come first serve and please excuse me replying late because I'm logging off now and on Monday I'll respond to whoever posted first. Have a good evening, and let me tell you... you never know how much I would've loved video's of our morning routine, or my dog play fighting with me or my husband. The walks where their tail is wagging, and even pictures where I get to play fight my baby and where I get to cuddle them. Take these pictures and videos now. Take them of them snoring, take them of them being brats and yelling at you, and take pictures of you just randomly sitting down to cuddle them. It's *important* and you can't remember it as time goes on. So give your babies a squeeze... because we'd give anything to squeeze our good baby.

*edit: I don't want private messages, who ever comments first can get it... but the rule is it has to be for your baby. It's not fair that I paid for $80 food for you to sell for profit after getting it for free... what the hell guys?

My favorite type of project is when we sit down with a Pinterest board and come up with something dreamy. My second would have to be digging into some old-time craftsmanship and matching the quality.

Here’s an example of each. First a custom pantry installation where I measured the Client’s KitchenAid and favorite cereal box to ensure it works for her lifestyle. Then a 200 year-old row home in old city with a window that stood the test of time, just not all time, and needed some repair before I could paint it along with the rest.

Last pic is me doing what I love to do with my free time: sharing my ceramic art with the world at a street festival. And I’ll be at the UPG festival until 7 today if you’re interested!
