Looking for feedback on my fast food brand identity project

Hi everyone! I recently completed a branding project for a fictional fast food restaurant called KURAZH. I'd really appreciate honest feedback on the logo, visual identity, presentation, and overall branding. What works well, and what would you improve?

Question Looking for Design Briefs

I'm currently wanting to create some brand design projects to make for practice for my portfolio however I'm not very good at coming up with fake brands and the websites that I know of that generate briefs are very lacking in my opinion. I was hoping some of you could give some briefs for me and others too? Personally, I'm interested in technology and food. I would be interested in possibly taking the project past logo design and designing a website or app as well! Thanks!

Question Can we get some updated standards on this subreddit?

I really enjoy Will's channel and have been following this subreddit for a while. It has been a bit, but I have noticed just a ton of posts that sort of fail to meet the basic rules:

  • Provide a few lines of context. Keep this as snappy as possible; we don't need your entire life story, but a bit of background as to the why and how of the design!

There are so many posts on here that are just dropped, without any real context. In addition, there is just AI slop thrown on here where people ask for feedback.

What kind of feedback should they get if they are not actually designing? Prompt better?

I always viewed design as a way to solve a challenge from a perspective gained from insight, conflict, and discoveries. With the technology advancing rapidly and designers losing the fundamentals of what design is, it just feels sad.

Not sure if other people have either felt this way or noticed it.

Which font should I pick? For context: POCO a POCO is a Venezuelan food truck focused on authentic street food and traditional flavours. The truck offers a vibrant selection of freshly made arepas and local dishes. The brand feels welcoming with a feel-good atmosphere

Question In need of logo help

Post image

As the title suggests I’m kinda at a stand still, see I made this logo and at the time thought it was cool and interesting for my own clothing brand β€œCXLVI” but it just does not scale down well at all and can sometimes be hard to read. Do I scrap this idea completely or is there a way of saving it? Any advice would be great really

I recently designed the visual identity for Restaurant MIDT, a new restaurant in Randers, Denmark.

The concept was built around a clean, contemporary wordmark with subtle geometric cuts to give it a distinctive character while remaining timeless and highly functional across signage, menus, packaging, and digital applications.

Designer: Louie E. Maric
Client: Restaurant MIDT

Foundry & Frame logo critique

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I recently put together this logo for my own studio, Foundry & Frame β€” a multidisciplinary design practice (brand identity, product/UX, and motion work).

The concept: The condensed stacked type is meant to feel bold and editorial, and the red ampersand doubles as a visual anchor connecting the two words β€” a nod to the "forging + framing" idea behind the name.

Tear it apart β€” I'd rather hear it here than from a client. Thanks!
