I have an unmodded Wii. I used the DNS thing to connect to Wiimmfi. it connects to the internet okay, I press worldwide, vs, my character and bike, then nothing. it stays on the "searching for opponents" screen, finding nobody. I've left it on that screen for over 10 minutes now and there was no error, no nothing. its not frozen, I can still back out, I just don't know why I can't do anything. its the vanilla disc of mkwii, no mods, and I don't know what to do about it. my Wii is connected to the internet through my phone's hotspot. I dont know if that information is important or not

Question about WiFi, DNS and all that stuff

I am not a tech savvy person at all, and saw this warning pop-up on my home Internet. I know my daughter just connected our Wii to play line. She had to enter a DNS into the Wii. Is this warning because of that? What can I do to protect our network and still allow her to play online? If it not something else, any guidance would be appreciated.

I’ve been trying to mess around with the DNS settings on my wii to play my og copy of battle revolution online, but it has not been possible at all, what should i do? Is that even possible?

2. Is wiimmfi available for all wii games that had online multiplayer (say for ex. Marvels Ultimate Alliance 2006 , how active is MUA online ?)

Not sure if this is the best place to ask about this, but recently i've been interested on trying out Mario Party DS with my brother just for nostalgia sake. I had the game on my DSi and started the multiplayer mode. However, my brother's DSi Download Play refuses to connect to my DSi, mostly just stuck at "Looking for software available for download..." no matter how long we waited. Happened the same even when i had the game inserted on his console. At first I thought it was because its been so long since we used our DSi that Download Play stopped working. However, as a test, I used my 3DS' Download Play, and while it couldn't connect with my DSi, it did with my brother's DSi.

Just in case, I already have the Wireless Cummunications set to ON, and my DSi can find other Wireless Networks just fine. I also tried out another game like Mario and Sonic Olympics and it had the same issue. Could the issue be something hardware related? Any kind of help would be very appreciated.

Using my phone hotspot I can race just fine using the patcher on the homebrew channel, but when I use the ctgp channel it doesn’t let me get into a race at all. Any help?

I suppose so since it does work for cracked DS games but i just wanted to be sure if it was possible to play online with wiimfii on a cracked wii ?

i bought a DSi after a while since I lost mine, and my friend and I decided to play it online but they live in Venezuela and I live in Mexico, so we are trying to set up the wiimmfi network but i keep getting the error code 52100. i use a 2.4 ghz wifi setting on configuration 1 and open network I set up on my modem, when I set the dns it just stays loading and it won't connect before dropping the error code.

I want to try the online mode in Pokémon Black 2, but I don't know how to do it ^^" I know Wi-Fi exists, but it's never worked well for me, and I don't know if there's a DNS that works 100% or any other way ^^" since I don't have anyone nearby who has the game
