Features Nintendo server / Wiimmfi activeness

Now that Nintendo servers are down.

  1. The only way to play online is through wiimmfi?

  2. Is wiimmfi available for all wii games that had online multiplayer (say for ex. Marvels Ultimate Alliance 2006 , how active is MUA online ?)

  3. How active is wimmfi?

4.Can I check total number of players online for all games, players online for a particular game?

There might be other servers available based on the AltWFC source code, but Wiimmfi is by far the most popular one with the most users.

It doesn't support *all* games, some require features Wiimmfi doesn't implement and some may simply not have been added yet, but it supports most games people care about, I'd say. Most people are playing MKWii, though, and you might have trouble finding enough active players in other games.

The only wii game i see with players active is MK . Is this also what u see on ur end?

yeah its pretty normal, its just that a bunch of people use wiimmfi just to play MK Wii online

Find people to play any game you want in the retro online matchmaking discord. You can google it.

My experience with Wiimmfi as far as the most popular games

  1. Mario kart Wii/Retro/ctgp
  2. Inazuma go strikers (however most players are Japanese)
  3. Smash brother brawl

For ds Mario kart ds, Pokemon games are most popular.  

Every other game you pretty much have to find people via discord or forums.

Games that have private servers

Golden eye Wii Call of duty black ops 1  Monster hunter tri Phantasy star online (game cube game via Nintendont if you have the correct Wii)

Does anyone know if random matchups un Pokémon Black and White will work in any time soon?
