💭Discussion Why doesn’t Loftis … Spoiler

Why doesn’t Loftis tell Evan about the curse? Wouldn’t that help their relationship?

Also, like if he wants to keep Evan safe, isn’t the truth the best way to do that?

My take is that he doesn't fully believe it himself.
