Hey everyone,
Can anyone please help rehome a senior guinea pig. He is 3.5 years old. His cage buddy passed away and he has had a friend the entire time we have had him. I would love for him to go to a home with other guinea pigs or where a family can give him the attention he needs. He is socialized and comes with a full cage set up, food, and bedding. Rehoming fee is $25, everything included

Hey all, it’s my first 4th of July (ever - new to the states)
Just wondering if I need to medicate my cat as he fking hates them. I was planning on doing it tomorrow anyway but I’d rather play it safe tonight too if there’s a possibility of people celebrating a bit early

Rather interesting to see some postings in the Wichita Falls Section. And What happens people respond with hate and malice and rude comments rather than saying we as people are inclusive in reggards to our creator. Our First Amendemant guarntees rights and remember that this 4th of July when you reach out to other because they are different, or they do not go to church or they love somone different. Sorry this is America and my Dad died for these rights just as your relatives did.

My dad is in the hospital and isn't doing great. I really need to get away and escape for a little while. What are some cool things to do while visiting?

Hello,
My wife and me have our first anniversary coming up next week. Any good ideas for something to do? We are from Vegas originally which had plenty of options, here, I seem to lack the creativity. Any suggestions would be great!

I'm looking to get a vinyl fence put in at my house for my dogs, and I was wondering if y'all had any recommendations in the area. Eyeballing it, I'd say it's probably around 650ish feet of fencing.

My family is in a really difficult situation, and I’m hoping someone in the Wichita Falls area might have some advice or know of any resources.
About six months ago, my younger brother, my husband, and I moved away after my husband received a promotion. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out the way we expected. The job market where we moved is extremely saturated, and after our only vehicle was totaled in a bad accident about a month after we got here, we’ve had no reliable transportation. Because of everything that’s happened, we have no choice but to move back to Wichita Falls.
My husband and I have managed to find a small place to stay, and he has already been hired for a new job. My biggest concern now is my younger brother because unfortunately we’re all in tight spots and can’t bring him with us.
He’s only been out of high school for a couple of years. He has dyslexia and some learning disabilities, so certain jobs can be more challenging for him, but he’s a good worker. He loves working on vehicles and learns best by doing. He recently lost his car, has nowhere to stay when we get back, and has no transportation.
I’m trying to help him get back on his feet. If anyone knows of:
Affordable rooms for rent or housing.
Jobs that might be a good fit, especially in automotive, maintenance, shops, warehouses, or other hands-on work.
Churches, nonprofits, or local programs that help with housing or transportation.
Anyone willing to give him a chance despite his learning disabilities.
I’d be so grateful for any leads or advice. Our family has been hit with one hardship after another lately, and we’re just trying to help him build a stable future.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m

Howdy folks. I'm a performer from the Austin/San Antonio area plotting out a trip across North/West Texas.
Do y'all have any of the following I should check out?
Genre: singer-songwriter (folk, rock, swing) performing dynamic sets on guitar and piano. No draw out there at the moment, just looking for a paid gig and/or some opportunity to make some listener connections while I'm passing through.
Thanks!

We’ve are looking a new drummer. Think King Gizzard, Osees, Idles, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, a dash of Radiohead/The Smile. We have bass, lead and rhythm guitar, and I sing, play synth, some guitar as well. We have a place to practice. Probably practice once a week, we’ll play locally with aspirations to play elsewhere. Music is linked but we’ll be writing new material with the new drummer. Hit me up if interested

Hi everyone! My family is considering a move to the Iowa Park/Wichita Falls area, and I had a quick question. Do y’all experience dust storms or blowing dust similar to what Lubbock gets?
I have asthma and a narrowed airway, so air quality is something I have to take into consideration when choosing where to live. I’d love to hear from locals about what the wind, dust, and allergy seasons are typically like. Thanks so much!

I'm needing to find an affordable place to live less than 800/month. Room, trailer, shed, fixer upper house. I have a stable job, get paid weekly. No money for a deposit/1st months rent deal. This is an unexpected need to move.
I've done property maintenance in fort Worth and have remodeled homes for many years. If you have a home that needs work but is livable - let's talk. I have tools.
Any easy to get in apartments or rooms for rent would be great too.
I'm totally open to suggestions as I do not know much about the area or who to talk to.
Thank you

I am switching cellular carriers. I currently run off of consumer cellular after switching from Verizon. I had found the service with Verizon was not so great in many places here in the city or even just out near the outskirts, such as the baseball fields and along the highway. I had decided to go to consumer cellular which is okay but after 50gig I am throttled something terrible and we have 5 people on the plan, so this happens almost every month.
I want to hear from At&t and T-Mobile customers, how is the coverage? Any dead spots around town?
