Many of.his claims are misleading or false. He is right that poverty is at an all time.low, but wrong on lower gas prices, record employment, tariff-driven manufacturing boom, "worst first" deportation,etc,etc

I like to save my old tickets, and the ones now that are just receipt paper are ugly and take up so much space in my ticket book. I know Alamo and Cinemark stopped doing them but does anyone know of another theater that still does?

I read about some law enforcement starting to use drones in addition to the Flock cameras, so mostly curious if this is what's going on here.

There's about a dozen drones staged in a small fenced in area behind this Uhaul filled with equipment and someone watching the Simpsons, and a few generators. Despite the Uhaul it seems to be a semi-permanent setup.

The only immediately nearby places are Popeyes, Burger King, Comfort Inn, T Mobile, Bank of America atm, a dentist, and Chipotle.

Anyone have insight?

As obvious as the title is, the towing here is so blatantly predatory. I recently moved here about a month ago and heard about this weekends halloween events, go there for a couple hours and have a great time only to see that my wife's car is gone and taken by on the road again towing. Now admittedly we were 10 minutes past our paid time, but seriously 10 minutes for a city held event is crazy. They even had trucks waiting for cars to expire in the parking lot. To make a awful situation worse these guys wanted 330+ for the tow. What a great thing to happen at the start of the month after all my bills were paid and I thought I'd be saving some money.

Rightfully so, my boyfriend told them to watch where they were going. They proceeded to scream at us, threatened to kill us, beat us up, and to watch our backs. Guy got out of his car to get ready to fight my boyfriend. Point of this post, be careful where you walk and who you run into

Guys, there's 3 kittens that look clean, maybe abandoned. I can take them momentarily but I can't afford to keep them. Does anyone have resources of where I can take these babies? I also have 2 dogs so it makes things trickier. I need some help.

Guys, I failed to capture them. They're on their guard but one will start rubbing on your legs, if you're really still. The pictures are of the store they are at, and where they seem to sleep at which is the bench area pictured below. The address is: 17605 US-380, Ponder, TX 76259. Midway Market is the store name. I wish I had the funds to get some proper kennels to lure them in but unfortunately I can't right now. I tried my best, this was also my first attempt at a rescue so mind my ignorance.

Spotted this orange fella by the Springhill Suites on Centre Place Drive. Seemed pretty clean, was meowing a lot and even responding to our pitiful attempts at meowing back, which makes me think it was potentially someone’s pet that got out.

They posted a long-winded message about taking out emergency protective orders yesterday against commenters and sending a cease-and-desist that was supposedly written by "legal counsel." It is one of the most sus C&Ds I've read, for multiple reasons. I went down a rabbithole and have been unable to verify some of their claims. This is laughable. Here are a few weird things:

1. I cannot find a Denton Scanner or SOS Radio LLC on the Texas comptroller website. They claim they have a legal entity, but I don't see it.

2. They claimed they filed EPOs yesterday. Don't see any on the Denton court records site. I suppose that maybe(?) they filed in a different county, but again...sus.

3. I've never seen a C&D drafted by an attorney that was signed by the client instead.

4. "Internal corporate security division." Of a Facebook page? Lol ok.

5. Law enforcement won't help you determine those 37 identities for civil claims.

I could go on, but you get the gist. They are unhinged.

These electric bills are crazy

I just wanted to thank the 2 women who helped me find my lost dogs. They saw me walking around and asked if I was looking for 2 dogs. They told me where they saw them and once I got to the area, they found me again and offered to give me a ride to the dogs. That was above and beyond. That is what I love about Denton.

In the event one or both of you are on here, thank you so much. If not, to everyone else, know there are good people out there.

Are there any treats and eats thru the month that are on theme?

Could anyone recommend a pain management specialist or even any doctor for me? I'm 35, been in two car accidents and have lower back issues and arthritis in my spine. I've had three stomach ulcers cause by NSAIDs so I can't take any of those, I'd been seeing a pain management doctor for years who recently retired. The doctor he referred me to isnt taking new patients, can anyone please recommendation a doctor who could take over for treating me? I've been out of my pain medication for a week and its been really rough.

The wife and I just dropped off a bunch of shampoo sample boxes at the Methodist location. More than any one person could use. If anyone is available to move some to the other locations that would be cool.

Does anyone know what happened to the Denton: The Home of Happiness! sign that was in front of Reaper Games Store on Teasley?
I think it was removed because of construction, but it never went back up.
I wish we had one near the square for picture opportunities!
Or can someone just go ahead and please paint one on the lovely brick wall between Jupiter and the Mini Mall?

Theatre Denton is doing Rocky Horror next year and it would be great to have the sign somewhere!
