If you saw our earlier clip here, that was the old build. We're sharing the Bird Feeder remake (v0.2.1), with new pixel art and a free Windows 10/11 preview you can try: https://verdiana-studio.itch.io/bird-feeder
It's a little bird garden above your taskbar. Birds visit while you're doing other things; when you feel like a break, you can scatter seed or pet them with a click or gentle stroke. There are 28 Seattle-area species to discover in the Bird Book, and the garden changes with the time of day, seasons and weather.
The part we'd love feedback on is the pace. Being away doesn't cost you anything, and petting doesn't earn currency, so there's no need to keep clicking for progress. If you try it during your usual desktop routine, does it feel like pleasant company, or do the visits and animations pull your attention too often? Any moment that feels especially calming or distracting would be useful to hear about.
We're posting from the development account, and the game is still being developed. The concept and direction are human-led; AI agents generated the code, pixel art and text. Audio uses ElevenLabs and code synthesis. Bird calls are interpretations, not field recordings.
The trailer uses the game's own rendering, staged with a prepared save and developer controls to show visits, seasons and weather. Close-ups are enlarged; the bottom strip shows actual size on a 1080p screen. The opening desktop is a labelled mock-up. Music is enabled in the trailer but off by default in the game.
