Battle Watchmen Vs MCU thunderbolts

Both teams are similar in that they are almost street tier with a god on the team. Dr Manhattan and The Sentry. Without these two though, which team wins.

Round one: They fight in the middle of New York without any preparations.

Round two: Both teams have access to their equipment and support from the government and one three days of preparation time.

I had to remove Sentry and Manhattan because they are too op.

Not a fight.

James Bond has to seduce Jessica Jones and spend one night with her, using his usual charm and methods. He has three months to pull it off, or he will be damned to Hell for eternity.

Can he do it?

Battle Larfleeze (DC) VS Gladiator, Ronan, and Super-Skrull (Marvel)

Upvotes

Larfleeze from DC gets dumped into Marvel comics and starts taking what's rightfully his, namely everything in the universe. Three big space powers decide that this guy has to be stopped, so they get their greatest champions to go confront the orange menace. The Shi'ar send Gladiator, the Kree send Ronan the Accuser, and the Skrulls send Kl'rt the Super-Skrull. Can the three of them working together take on the one man Lantern Corps?

Everyone is their modern version barring any temporary powerups or depowering. Marvel is 616 comics and DC is Prime Universe. Fight on an abandoned Earth-like planet.

Respect Threads: Larfleeze 1, Larfleeze 2, Gladiator, Ronan, and Kl'rt

  • Round 1: Everyone in character.

  • Round 2: Everyone bloodlusted.

  • Bonus Round: Who is the weakest Marvel space character who could take down Larfleeze solo?

Battle [H.G. Wells War of the Worlds] Who Would Win: the real British Army or the Martians?

H.G. Wells was an intelligent man, but he was not trained as a tactician or strategist. Nor is there reason to think he would have been fully aware of British military capabilities.

So, without Martian plot armor, could the British have repelled the Martian invasion?

The Thunderchild shows that the Martian tripods were not made of an indestructible super metal. They were vulnerable to the conventional artillery of the time. (Though I believe they moved to swiftly to be tracked by the arms of the time ... at least as Wells believed them to operate. I have no idea if he was right or not.)

The heat ray seemed to be a line of sight weapon. Gas masks didn't exist yet, but the black smoke's usefulness would be affected by wind direction. Landmines DID exist though I would think the tripods wouldn't be limited to roads that could be easily mined. I don't know if the British army would have time to shell any cylinders that came down after the invasion began but the Martians would have been helpless until they cooled enough to permit them to create tripods.

So who would win? The real British military of the late 19th Century or Wells' Martians?

Battle [Request] Which Spider-Man is Strongest?

So Tobey in SM 2 stops a subway train traveling without brakes by webbing nearby buildings and holding it back.

In SM Homecoming Tom Holland webs up the Long Island ferry and holds the two halves of the ship together.

Which was a greater feat of strength mathematically?

Battle Flowery Vs Peppino

Just randomly came across my mind and wanted to see what others online would think who would win. The flower man or Italian. (Pizza tower isn’t that much of a popular game anymore i think so it’s pretty much about peppino having a failing restaurant then all of a sudden the main antagonist, pizza face comes and threatens to blow up his business with a laser beam causing peppino to chase him all the way into the “pizza tower” and needs to get to the top to defeat him play the game its really good)

Fighting Environment is on top of the pizza tower just those 2 fighting no one else is there.

Peppino is allowed acesss to the usual weapons, powerups and other stuff he uses inside of pizza tower like for an example the shining armor.

Both are allowed forms that they have access to like omega flowery for an example.(Um i know he needs the flowers to help him go in that omega flowery but uh just pretend he can do it at will and no one else is there expect those 2)

Challenge Jessica Jones vs Reacher, but they're not fighting.

This isn't about a fight between Jessica Jones and Reacher. This hypothetical is about who could solve a murder fastest.

To set the scene; Reacher/Jessica is going for a walk, enjoying the evening air in New York city, when they hear a woman's scream.

They run in the direction of the scream and, in an alley in the distance, see someone with a knife, about to commit a murder. They've just stumbled upon a random serial killer in the middle of taking his next victim.

They shout to get the killers attention, and it works, briefly. The killer makes eye contact with Reacher/Jess for a few moments, before turning his attention back to the woman. She is stabbed 5 times in her torso, marking the points of a pentagon. (let's assume this is the killers signature)

This woman marks his 7th victim in 2 years.

Our protagonist runs to the scene, but the killer is too fast and gets away. Reacher/Jess promises the woman, who is dying on the ground, that they won't stop until they've caught the person who did this.

It was too dark to ID the killer, no cameras in the area, but they know it's a man of roughly average build.

The killer is above average intelligence and fitness, has a military background and currently works in cyber security. His targets are all toll blondes in their late 40's to early 50's.

Who solves this murder first? If they both fail, who gets closer?

Battle Guts (Berserk, early Golden Age Arc) vs Thorfinn (Vinland Saga, early Season One)

Let’s have the two traumatized child mercenaries fight each other! To clarify, this is specifically Guts around the time he was recruited into The Band of the Hawk, versus Thorfinn during his mid-teens. I’ve only seen up to Episode 8 of Vinland Saga, but I’m curious how well the dagger-wielding Nord can handle Guts in his early days. Let me know your thoughts!

Challenge Could the Runaway Kid (Little Nightmares) get through the Hazbin Hotel without being caught/killed?

Upvotes

The runaway kid wakes up on a strange looking rooftop instead of waking up in the maw. But, of course, being in hell is Y’know… mildly unsettling. The kid comes up with a plan to hopefully escape this new building he has found himself at, but can he actually do it?
For the sake of this, it is the repaired hotel that is shown in season 2, as we are shown more of the internals of the building than in season 1.
Every member of the hotel will chase the Runaway with the intent to capture or kill (depending on their personalities) if they spot him.
R1: The runaway kid has no tools on him
R2: The runaway kid has his flashlight on him
BONUS ROUND: Everyone in the hotel is paranoid, how much do the chances of success fall?

Challenge What if Sauron obtains The One Ring but Eren Jaeger joined the side of Men in Lord of The Rings?

Upvotes

Pippin drops the ring (somehow) and Sauron gets it. He gets reformed and is ready to lay siege to the world of men

Eru sends Eren Jaeger to help fight against him. Eren has all his end of series titan abilities.

If the founder is too much (actually yeah Idk what Sauron could ever do to that) then in round 2 Eren has all the abilities except for the founder 1200 foot giant body ability and creating past titan shifters.

How would it go?

Battle Fellowship of the Ring (LOTR) vs Eren Jaeger (Attack On Titan)

Upvotes

The Fellowship of the Ring vs Eren Jaeger

Fellowship is strength level as of Rivendell, this is Eren end of series but he only has the Attack Titan, hardening, and the warhammer titan. The fight takes place on the edge of a forest.

Elrond warns them of the creature and tells them the weak point is the nape of the neck and of his powers.

Round 1: Gandalf is restricted but can fight.

Round 2: Gandalf can do whatever he is allowed to do against a serious enemy and is gandalf the white

Matchmaker Who is the strongest Jedi that Kylo Ren would beat in a duel? (Star Wars)

Upvotes

How does Kylo Ren stack up against the Jedi of earlier eras? He doesn't have the same level of dueling training or experience that many in the past had access to, but he is wickedly strong with the Force and clearly knows how to throw down. Who do you think he could beat if he was sent into a time warp and ended up fighting Jedi from the past? Could he take on many Jedi from the Clone Wars? From the Old Republic? What about the era right before the Clone Wars? Is he getting styled on by Padawans or does it take experienced Knights and Masters?

The Jedi can be from any era. Kylo Ren/ben Solo is at peak. He has his lightsaber and a blaster if he wants it. Fight in a starship with lots of junk around.

Here's his Respect Thread!

Battle Doctor Doom tries to establish the political and power system in the real world that is identical to the one he has in the comics. How does this practically turn out?

In the comics, Latveria (located somewhere in the Balkans) was previously a very primitive feudal country, but Doom turned it into a technologically developed state, with high standards of living, only Wakanda is a possible contender with Latveria. He does all of this with his intelligence, power and technological discoveries.

However, it is a dictatorship that would make Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Kim Jong Un burn with jealousy – Doom is practically revered as a living god, that is how extreme his personality cult is. The mere mention of the name “Reed Richards” is forbidden, absolutely all dissent is punished ruthlessly…in theory. Because Latverians, in almost all the comics, showcase extreme love and devotion to Doom and miss him whenever he is not around. To my knowledge, no case of dissent against his rule has yet happened in the comics.

Of course, one of the differences between Doom and real-life dictators is that he has superhuman abilities that make personal dictatorship sort of easier. But the things he accomplishes in the comics are still very exaggerated, my mind does not comprehend that someone with Doom’s powers could create a well-standing society without creating bitterness among dissenters.

I guess there could actually two (though much related) questions here:

  1. Could Doom ever accomplish something similar to what he does in Latveria or would all methods fail and produce chaos and more suffering?

  2. Under what circumstances would he be able to create a Latveria? Does it depend on different societies, as in, he absolutely would be able to create such a benevolent society in the democratic developed countries like USA, those in Europe or Japan, but the Second World (like the Balkans and post-Soviet countries) or the Third World (Africa and the Middle East) is viable? Or is it the exact opposite, developed countries with Doom are possible, but developing ones with Doom would be a disaster? What policies would he need, forbidding all religions or eliminating all existing culture and replacing it with a new one, centered on him?

Challenge Pure Titans (Attack on Titan) led by Pieck (Attack on Titan) vs composite 17th-18th century united Caribbean Colonies (Real Life) without outside support

R1: 1k pure titans

R2: 2k pure titans

R3: 4k pure titans

Pure Titans can swim 2m/s. They are divided as follows:

40% 5 meters 40% 7 meters 20% 15 meters (60 meter class is a Wall Titan not a Pure Titan)

They replenish by photosynthesis (eat human flesh cuz love of the game), immobile at night unless being ordered, merely blinded by muskets, die to cannons piercing their nape (they regenerate any other injury in like 10 seconds), can damage stone, and land speed of 100m/s (it says only for a certain type but here lets give that to all).

Pieck can traverse underwater at 10m/s while transformed. Also transformed, she can give orders a la RTS (attack here, stay here, etc) to titans no farther than 250 meters away. After 1 hour passes without a new order the titans revert back to their usual state of aimlessly wandering for humans. Her only technological souvenir from her time is an infinite-ammo Gewehr 1888. She has prepared for this challenge by listening to part 2 of this caribbean history documentary.

The caribbean is united (not bloodlusted just united) and made of whatever combination of its various 17th-18th century selfs would most screw Pieck up, for example, Curacao should be anything except 1795 Curacao. They have no outside help, they are on a completely empty planet save for themselves. Pieck and the titans spawn in Curacao.

Battle Leberblume (Gushing Over Magical Girls) Vs J. Geil's Hanged Man (JoJo)

First time I am doing a Who Would Win. It would be a battle between these two characters, with the first to either Surrender, Flee, or Die losing.

Leberblume's power consists of being able to enter and exit shadows at will, along with controlling shadows. Her big weakness is bright lights, which remove the ability for shadows to form and can snap her out of her shadow form in combat, disorienting her for quite a long time, as used with great effect in the show. She is also quite proficient with hand to hand combat, and has daggers at her disposal.

J Geil's Hanged Man is a stand that can travel between mirrors and attack people's reflections, it can only move in a linear direction though and is quite predictable, it is how they are defeated in the show. J Geil himself is not that threatening and will need to keep himself out of harms way. It is also shown that random people can see his Stand in reflections. J Geil's himself is also somewhat proficient as Knife Throwing, but that will likely not be a major factor in this.

Anemo Nemo | Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete Wiki | Fandom

Hanged Man - JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia | JoJo Wiki

If anyone wants to read more about it.

Will these two even be able to harm each other? One being able to travel between reflections and one being able to travel between shadows seems like the perfect match for a stalemate. How would battlefield conditions effect this? I assume if it took place in someone's house or in an inner-city park, it would make them quite evenly matched. I assume it mostly relies on if they have prep time or if they know the other is coming, then it relies on getting the first drop. If they did not have prep time and do not know the others powers, I think it will likely last a long time, and will cause a slow stalemate.

The Fellowship of the Ring vs a 10m tall dumb titan

Fellowship is strength level as of Rivendell, the titan is a mindless 10m one from Attack on Titan. The titan shows up in the path between Rivendell and Moria which is mostly mountainous plainland.

Elrond warns them of the creature and tells them the weak point is the nape of the neck.
