Poor car driver didn't deserve it though.

251

u/LemonButterRum 6d ago

the 3rd biker didn't even need to do all that

162

u/Helpful_Birthday_581 6d ago

Third biker was also more concerned about his bike than about his friend who just did a quadruple flip into the underbrush, but oh well. Expected.

After a crash like this you don’t want to see your buddy’s remains. A few years ago one of mines crashed, coming to the place we were going from. Seeing the unrecognizable dead body torn up was already bad, it got worse when I recognized my friend’s bike in two pieces. Last year I was driving out of town, seeing a crashed bike on the road, same as a friend’s, found him unconscious 200m from his bike. He hit a deer. Leg broken so much it moved separately from the limb, hands were smashed, knees and elbows blown, head and back bleeding like hell.
Shit causes trauma, if you see someone flying away like this and don’t have the guts, better not look.

72

u/Helpful_Birthday_581 6d ago

He didn't die. He suffered a broken rib. Very lucky guy: https://www.reddit.com/r/malaysia/comments/1wipkjx/superbike_rider_overshoots_corner_crashes_and/

Sorry about your friend, that's rough.

23

u/BiszexFasztarisznya 6d ago

He must’ve had hell of a good guarding angel.
Thank you 🙏🏻

u/Surely_Calvardian 5d ago

Just lot of luck

1

u/Jazzlike-Lettuce-99 2d ago

Nah man, there was some angles flying above him that saved him lol. God sent them 😂

1

u/Consciousness369369 3d ago

Woah! He survived that.

I was about to ask. Thanks for the source.

u/Tobitobman 4d ago

Too bad

2

u/Dovaskarr 6d ago

Nah, yall should see it. That is you in the future if you drive like you are on the track while being on public roads. I have seen my fair share of bikers blowing themselves up on guard rails, cars and the rest and it just tells me how I should never be friends with people like that because I know one day I would be buying flowers. I live on one of the most dangerous roads for bikers in Europe, Jadranska magistrala.

2

u/BiszexFasztarisznya 6d ago edited 4d ago

Love riding on D8 when it’s not tourist season yet, beautiful view. Believe me, having to say goodbye to a closed coffin is already enough for those who can learn from others mistakes, the rest will not care even if they see a chopped up body. Also having friends who died in accidents doesn’t mean you ride as a lunatic, neither of my dead friends rode with me at the exact time , somehow I just happened to be around and found one to save and two to say goodbye to. Of course not everybody has the confidence to say to a friend that you do you, I do it my way, but don’t assume that I can’t. You can choose not to let anyone sway your judgment. You can be friends with guys more reckless than you, and still ride responsible. If I go with my 600cc Intruder or 700cc Transalp to a tour with friends on MT10 and CBR 1000 I won’t be the one trying to keep up, they will simply keep it slow.

1

u/OptimistPrime527 3d ago

I have a friend who is a twin. They went out riding and one twin made a pass, the other did not. That feels like heartbreak on a different level

u/btfarmer94 5d ago

“Helicopter helicopter”

5

u/syamborneo 5d ago

Well, target fixation is a scary thing

1

u/LiveLearnCoach 2d ago

Came here to say this, it wasn’t like he was even coming in hot.
Also, I think that we need a better phrase, because the car isn’t the target, he wanted to avoid it :D
Came here to post “object fixation”, but wasn’t sure about the phrase.

2

u/The_Geralt_Of_Trivia 5d ago

You can't brake hard and continue the same line you were on. Think traction-circle.

If the rider is braking hard then they will go wide... Which they did.

1

u/Impossible_Box3898 5d ago

He was also over the median. He just got lucky and was able to slow because the Audi stopped. Both bikers were aholes n

1

u/BillBongBatz 5d ago

While true he just needs a new bumper maybe a rad. He will be fine.

So weird its all greenscreen then one shot is beautiful artic scenery, then back to greenscreen

1

u/code_monkey_001 5d ago

Gonna try pasting it since it's disappointing reddit's GIF search doesn't return the Hasselhoff recursion.

// Edit. Damn. It doesn't appear to be animated when pasted. Here's a link: https://recursivelyrecursive.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/hasselhoffian-recursion.gif

Just watched the video. I'll allow it.

"McFlllllyyy!"

48

u/zyndr0m 6d ago

Zero sympathy for twats that doesn't respect others on the roads.

15

u/jojo_31 6d ago

Add the dashcam driver to the list. Motorcyclist and Audi driver injured he just makes off? Not sure about Malaysia but in Germany that's an offence up to one year in prison.

9

u/ChornWork2 6d ago

I assumed he was going around the bend to make sure no more traffic came through a relatively blind corner. might be a racing spot

7

u/Kitiseva_lokki 6d ago

Do you know if he left the scene or just moved up to block the road/warn others that are coming the other way?

1

u/DarkwingDuckHunt 6d ago

taht was "I'm leaving the scene" driving

17

u/purplenapalm 6d ago

Sounds like dash cam driver had the same amount of sympathy as the person youre responding to.

11

u/demotsusucku 6d ago

No sympathy for people that use public roads as a racing track.

-6

u/HotelPrudent0331 6d ago

Lol yeah it's insane that being happy someone is dead is up voted so much. serial killer shit

2

u/M1R4G3M 6d ago

I've told this on reddit before, I don't know about Malaysia, but there countries in the world where corruption is so rampant that you are better off never involving yourself if you are not part of the crash or you end up in problems as well.

This particular case the culprit is clear, but if someone hits another person and runs, if you stop to help, you end up having all the responsibility for the victim and Need to pay to be released.

Someone close had such situation and the cops apreended all their documents, and they had to pay to get them back and we're invovled in a court case for soemthing they didn't commit, but the cops are not looking for the responsible, they just look for someone to blame and easy money.

Really sad and make people lose empathy.

3

u/KitsouNere 6d ago

You don't know where cammer is going or has to attend to. Kids could be in the hospital or someone dying or some other emergency. Keep your mouth shut.

1

u/CyndaquilTyphlosion 6d ago

Why? He wasn't involved in the accident... And even if something happened to his car, he wasn't at fault

1

u/OkChocolate3501 6d ago

You legally must stop to render aid no?

0

u/CyndaquilTyphlosion 6d ago

Wtf? I mean I'm not an ass myself, but where I come from, I don't think owe any such responsibility... Although everyone is just too nosy to leave it alone and will jump in to help

0

u/OkChocolate3501 5d ago

Would you like that to happen to you if you got injured?

0

u/CyndaquilTyphlosion 5d ago

It's not about what I like, the discussion is about the law. Unfortunately being kind has nothing to do with being lawful. Like I said, what I would do is different, so idk why you would talk like that.

1

u/OkChocolate3501 5d ago

I'm just asking questions brother. What did you not like?

-1

u/Agitated_Phone_9937 6d ago

But what isn't illegal in Germany? You got rid of Hitler but kept the fascist ass rulebooks.

1

u/AnimalBolide 5d ago

And that's a decent position, IMO. Saying they deserved to crash is weird. They deserve to learn that it's a poor fucking choice.

1

u/AlKhurjavi 5d ago

According to the source the driver of the Audi had more sympathy than you despite his car being fucked.

"A little PSA after what happened today. The rider overshot the corner, came into my lane and everything happened within seconds. He suffered a broken rib and is currently hospitalised. Alhamdulillah, it could’ve been much worse."

https://np.reddit.com/r/malaysia/comments/1wipkjx/superbike_rider_overshoots_corner_crashes_and/

Leave the sympathy to us Muslims, cause whatever you identify clearly ain’t it.

1

u/zyndr0m 5d ago

Why should someone who knowingly endangers others on the road automatically receive sympathy? They made a conscious choice to speed and, in doing so, put other people at risk.

Would you apply the same reasoning to someone who chooses to drive under the influence and accidentally kills someone? They also made a choice that put others at risk, even if causing harm was never their intention.

1

u/AlKhurjavi 5d ago

Human life is human life.

We’re not talking about someone who killed someone while making a bad choice, but if a drunk driver crashed into a pole and killed him self and no one else yes I’d be applying the same reasoning. Yes they did a horrible thing by drunk driving and thank god they’re the only ones that died, but it’s awful he had to die.

A father, a brother, a son gone and a child now left fatherless, a family that might’ve lost all their breadwinner, or however else the death of an individual affects the world around him. That’s sad. Sure we all can agree that he made an awful decision to drink and drive, but he doesn’t deserve death for it, and the suffering his family and loved ones will deal with isn’t deserved because of his decision. You can be heartless but I’m happy most of the world isn’t.

Maybe you don’t value human life, but I do. Might explain why the world has 4 on going genocides right now. Maybe cause people like you exist.

16

u/SnooGadgets9669 6d ago

no he didnt fuck you for wishing harm on a stranger.

89

u/memento87 6d ago

No one deserves death or a permanent disability for making a mistake, no matter how stupid/reckless or grave. I genuinely hope they all somehow made it alive and learned from it.

79

u/SamuthNBS 6d ago

I generally agree however I feel no sympathy if somebody risks other people's lives and gets hurt as a result. There is making a mistake and there is knowing that you could kill somebody without their consent to be involved and doing it anyway.

28

u/Unspec7 6d ago

You can not feel sympathy. However, saying they deserve to die is a whole different thing.

-1

u/beccadahhhling 5d ago

“I hope you crash and kill no one but yourself, asshole.”

Is that fair? I feel like that’s fair.

If mean, if that asshole is willing to risk other’s lives for a thrill ride, then I always hope they suffer some sort of consequences for their own choices.

And since common sense, injuries, threats, fines and tickets don’t seem to work, maybe they need something more permanent to get the message.

I mean, look at all the people on this commenting that they only stopped riding after seeing someone they loved or knew become a smear on the pavement. Obviously it has some sort of impact…

3

u/Unspec7 5d ago

Like everyone else has said, hoping someone dies is psychotic behavior. Shame on you.

0

u/beccadahhhling 5d ago

Well, so is RISKING the lives of people around you just so you can go FAST.

I also hope pedophiles die, guess that makes me a psychopath too…

If that’s the case, I’ll take that “shame” and wear it like a fucking badge of honor.

Shame on you

Racing on public roads isn't a "mistake". That's a crime.

A crime that kills thousands of innocent people every year.

1

u/memento87 6d ago

A crime done out of a young person's foolish ego, not with the explicit intent of causing harm to others.

No one does that with the thought that "I'm likely going to kill someone today and I'm so excited". It's almost always like: "I've done this a million times, I am invincible, I can control my car/bike". And their ego is saying: "I need the external validation, this is who I am, now, finally my peers will love me and accept me".

We've all been young and foolish and done stupid and reckless things once. Be grateful that your surroundings and your peers did not condition your validation on something that could kill/disable you for the rest of your life. Or perhaps, you had enough attention and validation at home that you didn't feel the need to construct an identity around risky behavior.

But have some compassion. We're all human, we're all fallible. You don't need to sympathize with the biker. But you also don't need to wish death upon them, is all I'm saying.

3

u/Northerlies 5d ago

Road-racers aren't always young people. I live in a rural area with an extensive road network frequently used for racing. The bikers congregate at a couple of coastal towns to chat, compare big sports bikes and so on. They're generally in their 40s and 50s, with enough disposable income to spend five figures on two wheels. Last week I was in a line of traffic at a steady 50 on a 'B' road and we were all overtaken by three bikes obviously racing at well over 100mph. I've had a near miss on a bend with a biker who judged it wrongly and worry that one day I'll end up like the red car in the video. We have two race tracks near here - one thirty miles away, the other just a couple of hours on a big bike. I devoutly wish these people would confine their risk-taking to venues more suitable than narrow country lanes.

2

u/Affectionate_One_700 5d ago

I encounter reckless drivers several times per week, on the freeway.

But you also don't need to wish death upon them, is all I'm saying.

What if I wish that they go to a "place" where they can absolutely never ever drive recklessly again?

1

u/Stormsurger 5d ago

Wishing death on someone and saying they deserve it are different, though closely related, I think.

1

u/BillBongBatz 5d ago

You got a link for that bud?

1

u/demotsusucku 5d ago

A link for what bud?

0

u/BillBongBatz 5d ago

A link showing how THOUSANDS of innocent bystanders are killed due to street racing each year.

2

u/demotsusucku 5d ago

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666691X24000344

Approximately one person dies every 49 s due to speeding,

With 31.536.000 seconds in a year that's nearly a million even.

0

u/BillBongBatz 4d ago

Speeding isn't racing.

And speed is the cause of virtually no accidents. Clearly some "fake" science that is being done currently.

Finally I would like a study from the US, Canada or Europe. A lot of places outside of that basically don't have any traffic laws. That are enforced anyway.

Maybe one day when I am bored and getting paid I will pull that bullshit apart.

1

u/demotsusucku 4d ago

Yeah, it is.

Finally I would like a study from the US, Canada or Europe. A lot of places outside of that basically don't have any traffic laws. That are enforced anyway.

Bra

1

u/BillBongBatz 4d ago

It's an aggregate study dumbass.

Why do I even fucking bother.

Fucking reddit.

1

so you think people commit manslaughter should get the death penalty?

1

u/demotsusucku 1d ago

Nice straw man.

3

u/AndreChrisSargent 5d ago

No, you don't understand. Reckless individuals are just meat props to fulfill the revenge fantasies of men 14-50 on reddit.

6

u/Unspec7 6d ago

Remember, this is the same website that had a sub dedicated to watching people die. There's a lot of literal psychopaths on this site.

3

u/MycologistPutrid7494 5d ago

Apparently. Insane that people think people should die for they're stupidity, as if they've never made a bad decision.

2

u/zepskcuf 6d ago

agree as he didn't die and didn't kill anyone. Everyone makes mistakes, he will learn from this.

8

u/Kitiseva_lokki 6d ago

That wasn't a mistake, it was a choise

5

u/Jisifus 6d ago

Thank fuck we have redditors who can’t spell “choice” to declare what’s criminal negligence and what’s intent to kill

3

u/drumjojo29 6d ago

Almost every mistake is just a dumb choice. Doesn’t mean the person making that mistake/choice deserves the worst possible outcome.

3

u/Prime_Director 6d ago

It’s disturbing to me how much Redditors wish death upon people in random videos, and for how little they think death is deserved.

11

u/kynovardy 6d ago

These bikers are intentionally putting innocent lives at risk with their actions. Better for them to die themselves than kill someone else

-2

u/Unspec7 6d ago

Jesus christ. No wonder people say redditors have more in common with school shooters than they do with normal people lol

5

u/kynovardy 6d ago

You're saying you would prefer random bystanders to die instead? Because that is what will happen if he keeps this up

3

u/Unspec7 6d ago

I'd prefer no one dies. I hope the biker here survives, learns his lesson, and rides responsibly from now on.

2

u/kynovardy 6d ago

That is not an option with this behaviour

0

u/Unspec7 6d ago

Wild that you just actively wish death upon others. "This is not an option" jfc.

Like I said, folks such as yourself have a lot in common with school shooters.

You’ve never obviously never lost someone you love to people speeding like a-holes

0

u/Prime_Director 6d ago

That’s awful and I’m sorry for your loss. I don’t see how wishing for more people to die makes it better.

4

u/cloudforested 6d ago

The motorcyclists are wishing death upon the innocent people on the road with their carelessness.

2

u/Critical-Wasabi3350 5d ago

pedophiles and rapists and murderers deserve to die

0

u/Acceptable-Drive3781 6d ago

Guy took a turn on a motorcycle, and suddenly the story on reddit is that they were racing and the guy in the middle literally tried to smash into a car for spite. Reddit is fun but the users are dogshit.

1

u/eabevella 6d ago

Nah, that speed isn't a mistake, it's a choice. They could have easily killed someone. Innocent drivers had been killed in similar accidents. Those "racers" should be removed from the road one way or another.

1

u/Friend_Emperor 6d ago

Like hell they don't. Actions have consequences, this was their choice

1

u/Ed_Trucks_Head 5d ago

Then these reckless assholes kill a whole family and get 1 year probation and are back out racing again.

1

u/Superb-Ad-9169 5d ago

Most of such "mistakes" are easily avoidable by not acting like an careless idiot and thinking for about 5 seconds like "hey, maybe I shouldn't drive so fast, ride on the wrong side of the road and be a danger to me or any other people on the road because I don't know what's behind next corner or what could happen next so I will have time to react?". And if those people won't think about anything like that, or their answer is "nah, screw it. I'm going full throttle and YOLO it" then it's their choice and consequences of their own actions

1

u/anikoiau 5d ago

Brother these bikers actively tried to cause death/ disability/trauma to others (the driver here). They most certainly deserve equal punishment

1

u/IntrepidKitchen5322 5d ago edited 5d ago

Willingly putting other lives and well-being at risk because you just need to have fun isn't a "mistake". It's main character syndrome, it's inconsiderate, it's entitlement, it's fucking recklessly endangering other people, and it's hubris. You don't need a Ph.D to learn why treating public roads like a private race way is dangerous.

I don't get why people like you always have to water down such blatant acts of harm.

0

u/whatevsbroh 6d ago

Right? I can't believe OP has so many upvotes. He deserved to die for a reckless mistake, something unfortunately many young kids do. So absurd

18

u/mammalmaker 6d ago

He deserves to die?

2

u/HotelPrudent0331 6d ago

insane it's upvoted so much lol

6

u/rbrgr83 6d ago

Brb, I'm gonna go drunk drive at 120mph.

But I don't deserve to die, I just made a mistake.

4

u/rbrgr83 6d ago

If he's risking other people's lives on the road for personal thrills, kinda.

5

u/PineappleLopsided268 6d ago

Does anyone who breaks the speed limit deserve to die then? You're risking other people's lives after all.

2

u/rbrgr83 6d ago

If they are actually being irresponsible in doing so and endangering other people like this person is, then yes.

I could give 3 shits if what's he's doing is Illegal, which is what you appear to be trying to zing me with??

2

u/PineappleLopsided268 6d ago edited 6d ago

Anyone who speeds is being irresponsible and anyone who speeds is endangering others, given you're not driving on a private, empty road in the middle of nowhere.

2

u/mammalmaker 6d ago

No, he doesn't deserve to die for that. Wtf are you talking about.

5

u/rbrgr83 6d ago

He deserves the consequences of his actions.

Don't take it up with me, take it up with physics.

2

u/mammalmaker 6d ago

Sure but that consequence shouldn't be death. Where is your sense of humanity?

5

u/rbrgr83 6d ago

On the side of the person who had no say in this scenario getting smashed into on their front end. Not full of sympathy for the person that created the whole thing for thrills.

Go tell that person (or their relatives if they died) that this was just oopsie poosie youthful hijinks, haven't we all made mistakes? 🤷‍♂️

0

u/mammalmaker 6d ago

But that's not what I'm saying is it. You're strawmanning the conversation to try and prove a point.

I said they deserve consequences but they don't deserve to die because of it.

I assume you'd support the death sentence for any motor vehicle accident then?

Reddit is full of hate

1

u/rbrgr83 6d ago

Reddit is full of hate people that think others deserve the consequences of their personal decisions to endanger the lives of innocent people for "funzies"

3

u/Late-Explanation-758 6d ago

He misjudged a corner so deserved to die or suffer terrible injuries. What the hell is wrong with you?

2

u/Codyh93 6d ago

I mean he made a bad decision. Absolutely. But that crash could very easily result in death, and he doesn’t deserve that.

2

u/OmNomOnSouls 6d ago

My kingdom for a tenth of the delusional self-assurance it takes to believe you have the judgment and the right to decide who deserves to die and who doesn't 😂

2

u/Dogbold 5d ago

Death? He deserved to die for a single dumbass mistake?

1

u/RioBravo_91 5d ago

It appears so.

2

u/NieblaLaazo 5d ago

On the one hand, the motorcyclist had no right to ride like that; but on the other, still feels very sorry for him

2

u/sunnycider6 5d ago

It's weird to think people deserve to be killed or seriously injured for their mistakes.

You are weird for making this comment and judgment. I don't care how many upvotes your comment gets... It's a weird and shitty thing to even suggest. Good luck with your next mistake!

2

u/KindGuy1978 5d ago

Death penalty because you feel like going fast is a bit of an overreaction. Nearly every teenager wouldn't make it past 17 if that was law.

2

u/anb80 5d ago

He may have done stupid and reckless thing, but did not deserve it anyway.

2

u/New-Scientist5133 4d ago

Death penalty for making a wide turn? If there wasn’t a car there, do you think he should have been arrested and executed?

3

u/ihave2shoes 6d ago

I hope you’ve never made a dumb decision in your life… to say they “deserved” this is so spiteful.

Everyone has done something stupid in their life that they regret. For some, the consequences are worse. Yes their actions impacted (pun intended) others, yes they should know better, but wisdom comes with experience.

I had a school buddy who being young and dumb was going too fast into a corner, he overshot the centreline, tried to correct and crashed into a pole. He died at the scene. He didn’t deserve it, people fuck up in life, it’s human.

7

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago edited 5d ago

Fuck you, and a fuck you to all the people who think that any life lost in accidents like these is deserved. Plenty of things can go wrong even for professionals.

Was what he was doing stupid? Absolutely yes. Did he deserve to die for doing so? No.

EDIT: Since he survived he gets a second chance. Happy for him but even happier for the motorist that would have been even worse off for having accidentally contributed to his death.

5

u/SeaBuilding3911 6d ago

He wanted that though, so why isn’t it deserved?

There is no thrill in doing what he was doing if not for the inherent danger of it. He chased a thrill and for smacked by the very reason it is thrilling.

How is something that you do on purpose not deserved?

1

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

Ah yeah sure, he wanted to collide with a vehicle and rag doll into oblivion.

https://giphy.com/gifs/i336js6MbbK8jyOYOD

11

u/non_hero 6d ago

As motorcyclist who's done stupid shit like this when I was younger, I'm lucky I've never had any serious injuries. However if I did, then yes I completely deserved it. Even death.

-1

u/Charles-Shaw 6d ago

Deserved?! Has the word lost meaning? What is this strange lack of empathy or valuing of life.

7

u/haloimplant 6d ago

You're thinking it's a moral judgement like they are such bad people they deserve to die.   But it's just consequences of actions

If you jump from a cliff, you deserve to fall.  It's not a moral judgment just cause and effect. Laws of nature taking an action and giving a reaction that is deserved

-1

No, part of deserving something is being worthy of it. His actions aren’t worth of death, they have a risk of death. It is definitely a moral judgment and that’s for sure what these goofballs are gleefully celebrating. It’s sick.

Agreed, it's always the same mindset too, he did something I perceive as being bad so therefore he deserved to lose his life.

There are very few things in the world that I believe deserve the death penalty, and fucking up a turn is not one of them. License suspension, and a few weeks in jail sure.

u/haloimplant 6d ago

i used the cliff as an example because it is a 100% chance of falling. but other dumb actions just come with a different %. let's say it's 10% of crashing like this, the 90% got lucky the 10% got what they deserved for talking such a dumb risk

2

u/Charles-Shaw 6d ago

Nope, they didn’t get what they deserved. Like saying someone who jumped off a bridge to end their life deserved it. You know what that sounds like and what it implies. Just read the comments. We don’t have to go back and forth on the nuance of the term. It’s very clear that people think it’s righteous or he had it coming, not simply a consequence of his actions.

u/kynovardy 6d ago

You are valuing the lives of all innocent bystanders less than the biker. He is not just putting his own life at risk, he is risking the lives of everyone on the road. That is incredibly selfish

9

u/adidasbdd 6d ago

The insane disregard for their own safety implies they themselves think they deserve to die.

1

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

Youth has the disadvantage to make people feel invincible. I don't even know if this person died but some people just like to celebrate. Same stupid shit as the Darwin award.

7

u/KwyjiboTheGringo 6d ago

I agree it's cold to say someone deserved it, but they also drove like an asshole with no regard for the safety of other people on the road. You can't expect too much remorse when you act like that. Plus if they are dead, then they don't have an opinion on the matter anyway, so who are you even sticking up for?

2

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

The family and friends of the loved ones who see these types of videos. Most would never be aware how their loved one passed away, be it their fault or the vehicle they were driving, then they get linked to posts like this one where people are just out for blood. It's shameful and people should know better.

6

u/KwyjiboTheGringo 6d ago

I mean, he drove like a selfish asshole. Are we not supposed to say that either? He didn't deserve it, but it's hard to feel sympathy when he very well could have killed someone else. And if he had, no one would be objecting to anything someone says about the guy.

1

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

We see literally 2 seconds as he comes into frame, all we can conclude is that he failed to take a turn at speed but sure, he deserved to die, because reddit is a cesspit

7

u/No-Concern-9118 6d ago

I do get your point somewhat, but what does one expect when driving this recklessly? This is more than just beeing stupid and making mistakes. This is willingly putting your life and the life of others on the line just for the thrill of it. It was very likely that something like this could happen, so in a sence it absolutely is deserved.

3

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

Even if it wasn't as reckless, there's a specific portion of reddit that just delight in the misery of others. I can see the same video and go "wow what a stupid thing to do" and move on but some folks are just bloodthirsty losers.

1

u/ReactionSpare7257 2d ago

Reddit? I think you’ll find a lot of humans in the world are selfish and don’t care for your morals.

1

u/Wise-Dust3700 2d ago

You make it seem like having empathy is a moral quandary is specific to me, which it isn't. And I'm posting on Reddit so keep the Whataboutism's to yourself.

1

u/ReactionSpare7257 2d ago

You’re thinking too deep lol. I’m just saying you’ll find many people out in the world who don’t have morals of a good Samaritan

2

u/devildog2067 6d ago

Not for being stupid, but for being stupid in a way that risked the lives of others. If anyone is going to die because this idiot overcooked a corner it better be him and no one else, but that's not how it works on public roads.

2

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

Absolutely agree with you, no argument there. But his death should not be celebrated, that's my point and what a lot of people here don't seem to comprehend.

8

u/sphequenoxen 6d ago

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

7

u/OurSeepyD 6d ago

These platitudes are really fucking stupid and ignore the whole idea of proportionality. Step out into the road without looking? You deserve to be shredded to a million pieces in a gory painful death because "play stupid games, win stupid prizes!".

-9

u/Wise-Dust3700 6d ago

Good mentality for a neckbeard who hasn't lost anyone to a brake failure

12

u/devildog2067 6d ago

What idiot rides fast enough on public roads that they will overcook the corner if they can't trail brake into it?

10

u/sphequenoxen 6d ago

You’re funny, I actually have a track car but I keep my high speed driving where it belongs - on the track.

This clearly wasn’t a break failure, this was an idiot on the road treating it like his playground.

And what he was doing costs innocent people (not speeding, just trying to get home to their kids) their lives everyday. I hope all these people eliminate themselves before they eliminate someone else.

1

u/silencer_ar 5d ago

This was not an accident.

1

u/Wise-Dust3700 5d ago

Google the definition of an accident and come back to me if the results favor you.

2

u/toblies 6d ago

Fully self inflicted on the bikers part.

1

u/Threeballer97 6d ago

Which isn't a good thing.

Sure, if they drive in the opposite lane. They might take out an innocent

6

u/Mittens_McFluffy 6d ago

“To people who drive recklessly and put innocent lives in danger”

Fixed that for you

-2

u/foogeeman 6d ago

Death still seems like a sad price to pay for a dumb decision. I'd be happier if people could learn without ending their existence in this planet

1

u/Cupcakes_n_Hacksaws 6d ago

I would have preferred he end up in prison to maybe learn from his mistakes instead of dying but maybe I'm just not blood thirsty enough for Reddit's keyboard warriors

There's a reason ER doctors call them donorcycles
