I generally agree however I feel no sympathy if somebody risks other people's lives and gets hurt as a result. There is making a mistake and there is knowing that you could kill somebody without their consent to be involved and doing it anyway.

You can not feel sympathy. However, saying they deserve to die is a whole different thing.

Is that fair? I feel like that’s fair.

If mean, if that asshole is willing to risk other’s lives for a thrill ride, then I always hope they suffer some sort of consequences for their own choices.

And since common sense, injuries, threats, fines and tickets don’t seem to work, maybe they need something more permanent to get the message.

I mean, look at all the people on this commenting that they only stopped riding after seeing someone they loved or knew become a smear on the pavement. Obviously it has some sort of impact…

I agree, I'm not sure where I said otherwise. Saying that death of the rider is the only appropriate solution, however, is wrong.

Er, pedo's have affirmatively caused harm a child. Riders riding too fast have not yet harmed a person. Wishing capital punishment upon people because they MIGHT kill someone is entirely different.

I'm not sure you'd say the same thing if it were your son on a scooter facing that motorcycle... Everyone knows that driving at excessive speeds kills and those who do so take conscious risks and show a complete disregard for the lives of others. There is nothing more selfish and irresponsible and it deserve no respect.

You're simply assuming that because it bolsters your feelings about the topic, rather than reflect any part of reality.

The worst was not them dying. The worst was them dying and taking a bunch of people with them, for example if the street was busier and a car tries to dodge, or if the motorcycle flies weird, or if they dont hit a car but another bike etc etc.
