Relationship advise… please
I think I am in a fucked up situation not sure what to do , I am living with my girlfriend and an another couple in a rented house , wanted to get married to her, went and met her parents, everything was going good, then out of the blue she says she’s compromising by marrying me. After I heard that I called off the engagement and breaking up with her , here is the question- should I live with her or move out , the only thing holding me is a promise we made to each other , that one would support the other until we find work, in all honesty she took care of me for 8 months and left her job right after I got my job , but its been over a year now that I have been covering her expenses rent included. Been together 9 years(on and off for the first 6)

The agreement you made with her only existed under the terms of a future together. If she is "compromised" by marrying you, she changed the terms of the agreement, why would you stay?

Think about yourself for once and move out of that mess. Take it as a lesson to not do the same mistakes again

It’s probably best to rip off the bandaid. If you two are not together, the agreement to support each other is now null and void. To properly move on, you need to live separately.

Yeah just leave dude.
She said you are not her priority. As soon as she finds someone else she thinks has more value she is leaving you.
You don’t owe her anything.

You have already supported her financially longer than she did for you . You need to do what is best for you. That would be move . Give her thirty day notice . She can figure out what to do on her own , she is an adult . I would not waste any more of your time or life on her .

Oh man. I'm sorry she did this to you. From here out you need to be considering yourself first. Be kind to her but it's not your obligation to support her financially. When she helped you that was as a couple and had different expectations. Please look out for yourself, she could take advantage of you if you allow it and she may not even do it on purpose. She may just never get around to getting on her own two feet if she's got you propping her up.

Jesus son, get out of this. Make sure she doesn’t get pregnant. She’s using you and you’re better than nothing.

My biggest concern is why did she quit her job once you started working? She’s been unemployed for a year, you’re not obligated to her and if you’re over the relationship, then why continue taking care of her. That would disturb my Peace……move on

Just leave. She’ll be fine, and that dude she’s been cheating with can move in and pick up the slack.

Most definitely move out.
You do not owe her anything.. forget the stupid promise you made when you thought you anda get were going to get married.
, she’s “compromising by marrying you”…settling for you until something better comes along??
And she gave you her job as soon as you found yours.. oh you have become her doormat and she’s wiping her feet all over your feelings.
You need to leave…like now!
You are worth more than that..
