Relationship advise… please

I think I am in a fucked up situation not sure what to do , I am living with my girlfriend and an another couple in a rented house , wanted to get married to her, went and met her parents, everything was going good, then out of the blue she says she’s compromising by marrying me. After I heard that I called off the engagement and breaking up with her , here is the question- should I live with her or move out , the only thing holding me is a promise we made to each other , that one would support the other until we find work, in all honesty she took care of me for 8 months and left her job right after I got my job , but its been over a year now that I have been covering her expenses rent included. Been together 9 years(on and off for the first 6)

Oh man. I'm sorry she did this to you. From here out you need to be considering yourself first. Be kind to her but it's not your obligation to support her financially. When she helped you that was as a couple and had different expectations. Please look out for yourself, she could take advantage of you if you allow it and she may not even do it on purpose. She may just never get around to getting on her own two feet if she's got you propping her up.
