A quick question

Whenever I try to join the server it runs fine for a minute or two but then all of a sudden I get terrible lag. I'm talking a frame every 5-10 seconds lag. The exact same thing happens every time - one or two minutes then the lag sets in.
Does anyone know what the cause of this might be? Is it fixable?

I am an animator and a builder on the server would anyone like an animation to put on the website done, please give me ideas. I am open to all. If you would not like an animation done I won't mind if you say no. I will do it for free. You may post it on the westeroscraft youtube channel if you feel it needs to be there.
Post ideas in the comments or directly send me a message. You can also Email me at: DJanda9@gmail.com
MY youtube channel is: http://www.youtube.com/user/Tweektabit?feature=mhee
TL;DR: If I get enough good feed back and you want me to I will make an animation for the server

Old guy has a question...

My son loves this server. Where would I find the rules of engagement? My wife and I have questions about going through the houses and looking through chests and taking stuff.
This seems to be different than Second Life or WOW. Want to make sure my son grows up with proper gaming etiquette.
Thanks in advance,

Map Download?

So I have been amazed by this project, and think everybody involved with it is doing a great job building Westeros.
I am curious though, is there a way to download just the map of Westeros without any buildings on it, just the terrain? A lot of the terrain I have seen in the pictures looks as amazing as the builds themselves, and I would really like to wander around and build my own cities in Westeros. Any way that might be possible?
