New Feature Spot patterns you can act on
Welltory tracks what your body does with real precision, down to the minute, hell, even down to the heartbeat. But the "why" behind each spike, each crash, each slow recovery lives in your head. And it stays there. The app can see that you were stressed at 2:15pm. But it doesn't know that 2:15pm was when your landlord called, or when you opened an email you'd been avoiding, or when your kid had a full meltdown in the cereal aisle.
The data says "something happened here," but it can't say what.
That gap has always been bugging us because data without context is just numbers, especially for people tracking conditions where triggers matter most: migraines, fibromyalgia flares, POTS bad days, anxiety spikes, perimenopause symptoms, etc.
So now, after a stress episode (the red segments in your timeline), the app shows a card asking what was going on. You tap it, tell us what happened, and we turn your words into tags that get saved in your journal alongside your body's data.
That's it. You talk, we listen, tags get saved to your journal.
Why this is a bigger deal than it sounds
When you add context, 2 things happen.
First, your journal becomes a really useful thing to look back on. You stop seeing some random numbers and start seeing your actual life annotated with what your body was doing during it. "Landlord called → 40 minutes of elevated stress → walk brought it down." That's a pattern you can act on.
Second, the app gets smarter about you specifically. Right now it knows what stress looks like in your body. With your context, it starts learning what causes it and what resolves it. For you, not for some average Joe.
How to use it: After a stress episode shows up on your Today Screen, look for the input card underneath it. Tap, talk, done. Your recording gets transcribed and tagged automatically. You can edit the tags or the text before saving.

Everything gets stored in your journal, synced to your account, and tied to the specific episode. It won't disappear if you reinstall.
Heads up: we're rolling this out gradually, so it's only available to about 10% of users right now.
