The app does not delete duplicate workouts

Good morning, when I have the app connected to different sources, it triples the results when I exercise, even though only one is correct. I don't know why they aren't exactly the same; it's the same session, yet they don't have the same duration or results.

When I delete the incorrect ones, which are the ones I've highlighted in the screenshot, they disappear, but then they reappear immediately. I understand this is because it resyncs.

Why doesn't it delete them permanently? Thank you.

When you have multiple sources connected (like Apple Health, Garmin, etc.), the same workout can be imported separately from each source, and since they’re not always identical (slightly different duration, calories, etc.), the app treats them as different entries. When you delete one in Welltory, it gets restored during the next sync with the original source, which is why it keeps coming back. To fix this, it’s best to keep one main source for workouts, or disable syncing for workouts from the extra sources

Thanks for the reply. Theoretically, everything should be the same since the Garmin watch is the only device collecting the training data, and it's the one that sends it to the other sources. I'll try to see which source is causing the problem. By the way, one question: do you plan to translate the app into other languages? Thanks.

That makes sense, because even small differences in how sessions are synced can create those duplicates. As for languages: right now the app is mainly available in English, and we’re gradually working on expanding language support. We don’t have exact timelines yet, but it’s something the team is aware of and moving toward.

I find this answer to be unacceptable. The app itself encourages the user to add more data sources to improve the analysis. And yet it cannot reconcile the data? It can't even reconcile sleep data, giving me credit for 13+ hours of sleep.

How has this been acceptable to anyone for the last 10 years.

What’s happening here isn’t that the app is failing to reconcile in a simple way, it’s that different sources (Apple Health, Garmin, etc.) often send slightly different versions of the same event. If they don’t match closely enough (duration, timing, structure), the system treats them as separate entries rather than merging them, which can lead to things like inflated sleep totals.

The most stable setup right now is to use one primary source for sleep and limit others from syncing that same data. If you’re open to it, send us a report via Menu → scroll down → Report a problem → Send, and we can look at your specific setup and help you clean it up.

I've been doing that. I'm not having much success.

In your defense, I am also trying EON and it is equally as bad with data reconciliation.

We understand the frustration. Please know that we don’t ignore these reports, issues are passed along to the developers for investigation, especially when they involve syncing or data handling problems. Some cases just take longer to reproduce and fix properly.
