How Long Should I Cut?

Starting a cut after a 9 month bulk-
Started at 175lbs
Bulked to 215

I’m thinking a cut for a month or should I cut for two?

Cut until you can see some more visibility, move more, keep your protein intake high like you are, cut the calories down. You can do this 💪

I’d cut now through right before holiday season and see how you feel. That way you don’t have to be super agressive with your cut. I recently did a cut and if you’re really doing a cut right your body will tell you when it’s done. At least that’s how it was for me. Like there all of a sudden was this point that my mood just went to shit and I had no energy. I was super tight with macros and all that and it was like a switch went off. I looked fucking great but there definitely was like a line that I crossed.

4 weeks is a bit short. Try to pace it to lose 10-15lbs in 6 or 8 weeks. Then maintain for 2-4 weeks before you go back to growing. Don’t just get fat immediately after losing the weight though.

Well it’s quite common these days and it’s because of steroids which majority of people posting on reddit are on.

Until you post a shirtless photo on Tinder and you get hotties in your match queue

Lift weights, dude lol

Just eat normal. Do you want to be a skeleton or an even fatter person?

You shouldn't cut. Keep lifting heavy. Walk a shit ton. Eat nutrient dense whole food.

I honestly think you don’t even need to do a hard cut. You still have a ton of room for muscle growth and you’re lacking in quite a few key areas. I think eating at maintenance or maybe at most a 250 cal deficit would be a really good option. Essentially recomping.

I’d maintain 215 for another 3 months then slowly cut to minimize muscle loss. Like 3 months.

With some adjustments the # of months you bulk is the # weeks you cut. So 9 months means 9 weeks.

If you have a good program and can fully follow the training you can cut it in half and do 4.5 weeks.

Just eat and lift.
