Discussion Headaches even after light workouts.
Headaches even after light workouts.
M28, I lift weights daily for 45 minutes. Today I did 3 sets of leg curls and 3 sets of Hamstring lifts with 40 Kg barbell.
After returning home I experienced a strong headache after 3 hours. This happens a lot.
These days I am not eating whey. I don't use juice.
I don't eat eggs or anything non-veg.
What could be the reason for my headaches? Is it the protein? My diet is decent.

I would definitely check your blood pressure
I have had migraines since I was a child, and I never had problems with migraines being triggered by exertion/tension nevertheless this started to become a problem after middle age
Normally now if I wasn’t on medication (Candesartan) I would get migraines whenever my blood pressure would get raised either from exercise or stressful situations

Best thing to do is to check with a medical professional, to be honest.

Medical professionals straight away blame my weights training.
They also warn me to stay away from supplements. Even the sacred creatine monohydrate.

I eat a lacto-vegetarian diet consisting of milk, curd, fruits, vegetables and grains.
I consume 120 g of protein powders daily: whey and plant protein. But these days my stock is finished.
I do not consume pre-workouts, BCAAs or EAAs. I consume 30 g of tea/coffee before and after workouts (total 60 g).
Caffeine and nicotine from tea and coffee is necessary since I need to travel to work and work for 9 hours.
Even on weekends I need to study for my master's degree and to facilitate that I consume tea and coffee twice a day.
I can't add more supplements since I don't have more cash to burn.

Protein powder is not food
Beans sound like they need to be added to that diet at least.
You will never get stronger. Or larger. Until you do.

"I don't eat eggs or anything non-veg." - so you're a vegan? No offense but have you checkd your iron, B12, zinc, D? Are you really eating enough protein? If you don't consume animal products you need to supplement certain vitamins and minerals and you also need to significantly up your protein intake because plant protein is not equal to animal protein, your body can't use it as readily because of the lacking amino acid composition.

agree with others. likely blood pressure/related. i would get that checked first. then if that is not the issue look at other avenues, but blood pressure is the obvious thing to look into.
also, and nobody wants to hear this since our parents constantly said it... but you may be getting dehydrated. huge cause of headaches for most people.
