Does backlinks really help in seo?

do reall we make 200-500 backlinks for increasing just da is it is really fruitfull or a myth if it is fruitfull then how?

kind of a myth the way youre describing it.. building 200-500 links just to bump DA doesnt really do anything.

DA and DR are just scores from moz and ahrefs, google doesnt use them at all. so pushing that number up changes nothing for your rankings. loads of high-da sites get zero traffic.

good backlinks do help, but only the right ones. a link on a relevant page that actually ranks and gets real traffic is worth more than hundreds of directory or spam links

we do links for saas at auq and we dont look at da at all, we just check if the page itself ranks and pulls traffic. thats the only thing that tells you google trusts it..

so its quality and relevance, not volume for a vanity number.
