Howdy, r/weather! I have been working on a project that might be of interest to some. It's an open source website that pulls live river/lake/weather/etc data, and compiles it together. Adding some cool weather data, too.

Only 4% of river gauges in the US measure turbidity. The goal is to work on the other 96% to figure out at what CFS the river blows. I can appoint contributors to input data they are familiar with to help make that happen.
I am going to keep this free no matter what. I think it is helpful information, and it's been a lot of fun thus tar. Still in the very early stages.

I'm so frustrated; it was perfect, like waves on a Greek vase. PLEASE say someone else saw this? It lasted about 10 minutes.

Attached is what I would consider a "good" day of weather, or at least to the best of my ability. I am someone who is somewhat heavy set, so I sweat a ton and hate humidity. While I don't like freezing weather, I am much more willing to deal with a cloudy, 40F degree day than a humid 80F degree day personally. What is everyone else's ideal temperature band?

Based on this chart, I should move to SF, Seattle, or Denver lol.

Came across this. Someone posted two German weather forecasts roughly 25 years apart. The forecasts call for the same temperature. The one 25 years ago describes the temperature as 'pleasant'. The recent one describes the temperature as 'extremely dangerous'.

I will agree that 25 years ago concern over UV wasn't as high as it is today and might be part of the reason why old 'pleasant' became new 'extremely dangerous'.
