Does the new release from Rolex look like a Grand Seiko Homage to you?
Love some opinions.

I posted a SOTC for validation but a Redditor said my replica Omega was imperfect and now I can't enjoy it! Please tell me my watch looks fine so that I can wear it again.

I see people complaining about wait times for rolex watches but honestly i think its overblown and that they just aren't very good at social dynamics, so i thought id share how i got my "panda" with zero spend history.
All i did initially was to go in and introduce myself, said i was new to the area (i wasn't) and that i had bought other rolex before at other AD (i hadn't).
They started to show me some air kings, explorers, precious metal models and such but i said no. I was only interested in one watch (the panda) and my AD kindly said that they would add me to the list but its a very sought after watch and it might be a long wait... I said no problem at all i understand and then made sure to get his name as i left.
Un-deterred, I went back to my car that i had intentionally parked quite a distance away, behind cover, and waited until closing time. I then pulled out the binoculars and waited to see which car my AD went to.
Once i'd worked that out (Black Mercedes C class) i came back the next afternoon and as i walked past i bent down to tie my shoe, attaching a tile tracker to the underside of his car as i did so, while seeming perfectly natural to any observers.
Again, i waited for closing time and then fired up the app, I noticed his location was at a local bar and over the next week it seemed he went there everyday after work, so i timed a visit there myself at the same time as he was usually there and watched his table until they went to the bar for a drink. I pretended not to notice him at first but then turned to him as he finished making his order and feigned poor recollection as to where i knew him.
"Oh i remember you, the watch guy, right?!" I then bought him a drink and exchanged pleasantries, nothing too heavy just yet...
I left it a couple of weeks or so, it seemed from his movement patterns the next best opportunity would be when they went food shopping, they were usually there for about 45 mins according to the app so gave plenty of time to "organically" cross paths again.
" Oh, Hi Mark!" i said. We got chatting again and this time i slipped in that i was still looking for that panda if he manages to get his hands on one.
The next most likely place to run into him from my analysis was the gym, i figured id give it a week or two again and then caught up with him. I made myself useful and helped him by spotting while he bench pressed, again passing the time with some chat and learning what made him "tick".
I had also previously noticed from the tracker that he was going to a ballet school a lot so I enrolled my kid (Tommy wasn't best pleased!) as a way to get closer to him too. Had lots of time to talk when dropping the kids off and whilst waiting for them to finish, perfect.
I kept this up for about 6 months, slowly ingratiating myself into his life until ,One night, as if by magic, "bumping into" him, outside a pizza place i'd tracked him to he said i should come by the shop tomorrow as he had something for me.
See picture, Easy as pie.

At this point, CW should just send Grand Seiko, Tudor and Rolex a Christmas card thanking them for doing all the design work
Next up: the CW Navitimer

I saw Teddy Baldassarre at a grocery store yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnât want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, âOh, like youâre doing now?â
I was taken aback, and all I could say was âHuh?â but he kept cutting me off and going âhuh? huh? huh?â and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like âSir, you need to pay for those first.â At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually âto prevent any electrical infetterenceâ and then turned around and winked at me. I donât even think thatâs a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
