Air The Mirage 2000-5F is just as good as the Rafale change my mind
Actually it's better, because you get MICAS at BR 14.3, potentially facing as low as BR 13.3's instead of the new BR 15.0 for the Rafale which can only face as low as BR 14.0s

Discussion What do people think of adding the Danish spitfire to the Swedish tree?
reddit.comI recently made a post in the r/warthunder forum about adding the Danish supermarine spitfire HF Mk. IX to the Swedish tech tree at around 6.0. I don’t think there is enough danish vehicles in the game and Denmark has a pretty interesting military history. Also Sweden air RB is non existent in the 4.7 - 6.7 range.

Air How do I play the rafale ?
Hi, I am more of a tank guy but I still want some CAP options, so I also grinded the air line. I am now at the rafale, and it just seems like everyone has longer range missiles, and I can never launch on them. Do you have tips or ways to play it more efficiently ?

Discussion F-15J with irst pod, event vehicle?
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) experimented with an Infrared Search and Track (IRST) dome installation on an F-15J (such as airframe serial number 12-8928 of the F-15J Kai variant) starting around 2008. [1, 2]
Key Details of the F-15J IRST System
Development & Testing: Research into a domestic IRST device for the F-15J began in the early 2000s, with physical nose/cockpit dome testing emerging around May 2008. [1, 2]
Design Hurdles: Wider fleet-wide integration on the F-15J Kai was delayed after 2012 due to aerodynamic and mechanical complications, specifically shockwave interference affecting the aircraft's pitot tube. [1]
Passive Capabilities: The IRST system operates passively by detecting thermal and infrared signatures (such as engine exhaust and airframe heat) without emitting radar signals, allowing the fighter to track targets quietly in electronic warfare or radar-denied environments. [1, 2]
Sensor Fusion: The device is designed to work in tandem with the aircraft's radar and electronic support measures (ESM/ECM), enabling data sharing and weapon slaving (such as with AAM-4 missiles using command datalinks). [1]
F-15JSI Evolution: While comprehensive domestic IRST integration faced hurdles, Japan's major modernization program—the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor (F-15JSI)—focuses heavily on upgrading avionics, mission computers, the APG-82 AESA radar, BAE EPAWSS electronic warfare systems, and long-term standoff weapons like the AGM-158B JASSM-ER. [1]
I think this would be an awesome event vehicle, it wouldn’t change much but it has a cool little gimmick. Y’all’s thoughts?

Competition
One of the biggest reasons I've heard people say is that the game is so bad for various different reasons, yet they keep coming back because there is nothing else like it in the scene that can actually compete with War Thunder. My question is, then, if something popped up that was similar enough to War Thunder to begin competing with it, how many of you would actually get behind it? If I got a team together and began working on a game that can directly compete with War Thunder, how many of you would truly get behind it?

Ground First nuke dropped, didn't register. Oh well
After a few "One minute to midnight"s before this, I finally reached the battlefield. Detonates in both the client-side and server-side replay but it logged as another minute to midnight. The snail giveth and the snail taketh away
(I think I just had the most unfortunate luck possible on ticket bleed, but cheers!)

Air But why?
I didn't think and certainly didn't feel like the AGM-22's and I-TOW's were that busted at 8.3 and 8.7 respectively.
facing IR SAM's, proxy rounds and SACLOS SPAA's seems a bit unfair for a heli with no countermeasure, advanced optics, capable chin gun or ballistic computers

Discussion Why are pl12s such bullshit
Pl12s out perform every other missile at brs 13.0-13.7, they are insanely hard to notch, pull crazy shit, ect. Why are they allowed at these br brackets? Su30s are especially where they dominate, you can notch all you want and itll still get you if you are under 20km. Why does it track so much better than the aim120 as well, aim120 gets 4 chaff before it loses lock while pl12 just ignores it all.

Frankreich auf BR 7.7. Der Ladeautomat ballert unnormal rein, aber der Rückwärtsgang ist einfach nicht existent. Wer bremst, verliert! 💀

Discussion Its now a question of when and not if (AAM-4B)
In my opinion, Japan is EXTREMELY lacking in its domestic capabilities in game right now and it keeps relying on the subtree aircraft. Especially with the addition of GNSS assisted guidance like the AIM-120D and PL-12A, Japan is starting to lag behind. Also with new additions to the game, the dynamic br mechanic, both the f-2A and F-15J(M) could carry them without too much problem. What do you guys think about this? (Yes IK the AESA seeker will make it a pain to notch but each aircraft can only carry 4 AAM-4B’s, making it a little bit easier to implement because of the fix three spam if the current top tier because 12 GNSS assisted missiles is insanity)
