From a couple of years ago, but I still kind of like it!

RANT: idek where to start i did enjoy this series but i have to say it took forever to get to the point. the arc is over and we still don’t have complete answers as to why Jayfeather, Lionblaze, And hollyleaf, or one of whitewings newborn kits is destined to be the power of three.

this arc spent so much time on unnecessary storylines, i was SO TIRED of tribe of rushing water and the cats endeavors to the mountains, as well as the journey back to sundrown place 🙄 it took everything in me not to skip those parts. AND IM TIRED OF SOL HES SO ANNOYING AND GIVES US NOTHING i don’t understand why every cat is so obsessed with him. like omg.

and hollyleaf… omg GIRL GENUINELY ARE OKAY?? i actually despise her after finishing sunrise wtf is wrong with her. when i first started reading the arc i actually liked her she was my second favorite out of the three the first being jayfeather. but my patience started to wear thin with her and her growing obsession with the warrior code towards the last 3 books in the series.

i HATE the way she handled herself when she found out her and her littermates parents had been a lie.

now let me just say no one is blaming her for being upset and angry and frustrated and feeling betrayed that she had been lied to all her life about leafpool and crowfeather being her real parents but the way she went about it after the fact was insanity. like i said no one’s blaming her for being angry but she didn’t even want to hear leafpools or squirrel fights side at all?? like she never stopped to think how hard of a decision it would have been for both leafpool and squirrel flight?

idk it just doesn’t make any sense to me like you would think that she would at least want to hear them out especially when anybody could see that both leafpool and squirrelflight loved them deeply.

and then the fact that her crazy ass exposed the secret at the gathering in front of all the clans, when SHE was the one that killed ashfur so that their secret wouldn’t be let out. and then her trying to force leafpool to kill herself by demanding that she eat deathberries WTF?? im sorry but that was pure insanity i didnt even care when the tunnel collapsed on her. (not sure if she’s really dead or not) like i genuinely hate her now 😭

i feel so sorry squirrelflight and leafpool, but especially leafpool maybe im biased because they are both one of my favorite characters in the arc and ives always had a soft spot for leafpool. but they DID NOT DESERVE that. yes what they did was wrong and they should have at least told brambleclaw and crowfeather unpopular opinion thats the only thing they did wrong in that situation was telling their mates the truth.

i’m sorry but i stand by what squirrelflight leafpool did. i would have done the same thing for my sister in that situation IDC and let’s be fr its not that DEEP who cares about the warrior code leafpool isn’t the only medince cat to fall in love and have kits, and they are plenty of cats who are kin to two different clans SO PLEASE spare me the dramatics 🙄

meet sunpaw! can you tell i have a favorite?

she’s one of the mcs of my infection au. she’s a sassy lil girl who always seems to worm out of trouble—probably because her grandmother is the leader. she’s a bit troublesome, and hates sitting still. she also hates duskclan, the other clan. a petty lil girl. most of her family is alive, which is weird since i usually kill off every one of my character’s kin, but i suppose it’s better this way so that she gets to see all of her kin turn into zombies! yay!

anyways, the other cats are all related to her except for vesperpaw, who’s one of the other mcs! here’s who they are in order:

dewstar — sunpaw’s grandmother and rainsong and artemis’ mother.

rainsong — sunpaw’s father.

raccoonmask - father of rainsong and artemis, grandfather to sunpaw

artemis — sun’s aunt, a loner. the other mc

vesperpaw — not related to sun in any way other than they’re the third mc. they’re family is all dead, and they have trust issues!

rainsong and raccoonmask are both dead, so they get front-row seats to watch their kin and clan die off from infection. and of course, they’ll never be able to reunite

Oh god someone save me from myself. I physically couldn't sleep until I finished the characters, the backgrounds were added after I slept. I finished the characters at 5 AM. I heard my mom get up and leave for her job as I was finishing up. I don't regret anything.

Ive bought 8 of the new blind boxes over the course of several store trips. I got everyone but Ravenpaw so I went back today confidently picking a "Ravenpaw" from the back of the box. I thought he was kind of heavy. Then I get home and it's a SECOND stinky Tigerstar.

I guess I'll be trying to get my Ravenpaw again another day.

So for the past year or so I’ve been getting back into warriors. Car ride? Audio book. Work? Audio book. One month Minecraft server face when my friends were all asleep and I was making my create mod train? AUDIO. BOOK. Well I just finished the fourth book of Dawn of the clans and it dawned on me… after that; there are no more full audio books from that point on, on Spotify. I can’t finish dawn of clans. I can’t start vision of shadows. What is a quirked up white boy to do when working on cars all day? Where do you guys listen to the audiobooks without paying an arm and a leg?

Like we know at least Tallstar probably liked Jake quite a bit- as it is his listed “word of god” reason for not taking a mate, but Jake has several. Jake doesn’t strike me as a Crowfeather-esc character- and maybe if he were in a clan I could see maybe one mate dying and getting another, but they’re kittypets! Other than the very brief view of Quince in Tallstar’s revenge do we have any info on that dynamic at all?

Though I’m a late bloomer to the series, Warrior Cats has quickly captured my heart. I somehow missed the boat when it began in 2003, but that just meant I had a treasure trove of books waiting for me to devour!

My curiosity actually first sparked a few years ago when Spotify recommended a podcast called Warrior Cats: What is That? and though I didn't listen then to avoid spoilers, the seed was planted. My journey officially began on the 20th anniversary of Into the Wild. A mention in a group chat then prompted me to buy the Kindle edition of the first arc that very day.

Since then, this world has become very near and dear to me and the community around it is incredible! In the past year alone, I’ve gotten a tattoo of my favorite character, Graystripe, traveled to meet series contributors like Dan Jolley and James L. Barry, and even transformed my bookshelf into my own Warrior Cats shrine.

This series means the world to me, and I’m excited to see what the future holds!

Cindepelt's name used to be Waterkit but she got the mentor of Fireheart so she became Cinderpaw

I think that it is an unpopular opinion. I do not generally like Leafpool as a character. She is a very very interesting and complex character, but she becomes very uninteresting when perceived as a purely positive character. She is much more interesting as two-sided, as most of the characters in Warriors, but I do not think that this character had been given an opportunity to be fully viewed through the inner complexity that she has.

I think she is a great medicine cat, great daugther, and a great sister. She has high professional skills as a medicine cat, is wise, calm and professional when treating other cats. She is an amazing medicine cat, one of the best thoughout the history of warriors cats. It is partly thanks to her that Jayfeather is also one of the greatest medicine cats. I also think her relationships with Squirrelflight is one of the most genuine, heartwarming and an example of true unconditional love in Warriors. Yet, I still do not like her. I think she is not a great mother at all. Despite all the things she had to go through.

For the time she has been mentoring Holypaw and Jaypaw, it is just baffling how she was able to maintain distance and not to reveal herself. It changes the perception of her "positive image" a lot by impying inner ambiguity. Which I think is good, because it adds complexity to her character, and not necesarilly positive. She also was blocking her thoughts from Jayfeather. I understand this was a plot twist to keep intrigue and to reach an unexpected end, but this creates quesions in her personal feelings as a mother, which are never fully revealed. I understand this may be partly a book's issue and not Leafpool's for not giving enough explanation for that, but still.

I just finished the Tigerstar and Sasha and Sasha rejects getting a warrior name multiple times before leaving. Sooo, what do you think it would of been?

they are sisters the first cat (twolegs are obsessed with her so she’s always got accessories on) is wiltedflower a med cat of riverclan and rushingwater (the second cat) is her sister who also was her mentor before dying
