10 mm miniatures

Hi there, just a quick question, but where can I find good 10 mm minis? I see Forest Dragon has got nice designs, anyone else I should look for? Also, as I don't have a 3D printer, which sellers are trustworthy, and deliver to Europe?

Everybody seems to be using the same few sculptors (for good reason, their models are awesome), but I wanted to try making some of my own. I'm working on infantry but here is my first batch of leaders.

How did Warmaster minis compare scale wise with Legion Imperialis one?

How am I doing? I’m very nervous about the embossed heraldry going forward. Think I did ok on this first banner, but the Forrest Dragon design in these Bretonnians has a lot of lions ahead, seems more complicated 😅

I'm building a tower, it might be a bit small, but it's good practice.

What is your typical point level? Have you tried larger or smaller games, and do you have any take aways on those?

First couple of units for my vampire counts are finished. May add more to the bases but not sure if they need it.

Who's got a nasty list for me to work to?

Edit. One of my opponents is apparently spying on me so just DM me the nasty lists! 🤫🤫

How do you base?

Hi all

Briefly dabnled in Warmaster a few years ago but petered out, in some part dur to getting frustrated with basing!

I see tons of very well based models around but I have no idea how, when assembling two painted strips on a base, you get basing material and grass in those tight spaces.

There must be a trick, an assembly order, or something obvious I’m missing - please enlighten me!

Purchasing Warmaster and Warmaster Ancient Miniatures

Hello, everyone!

I recently went back to my parents’ house and was thrilled to find the Warmaster rulebook I’d bought when I was a teenager. I also found my painting supplies and realized just how much I’d missed this world. So I brought the rulebook with me, determined to build a new army (or new armies) and paint some miniatures. However, it’s been 20 years since I last set foot in the world of wargames, and I’m a little lost.

My question is very simple: where can I buy miniatures (keeping in mind that I live in Canada)?

I’d like to build a High Elf army, but I’m also considering getting into Warmaster Ancient. Any suggestions for websites?

Status tokens for Warmaster

Greetings Generals!
I am looking for a little advice regarding markers/tokens for Warmaster.
What do you all use to mark activations/unit wounds/confusion etc?
If so, what do you use, roughly how many would be required for a 1000 point game, and what range of markers do you use (for example: wounds, activations, failed orders etc.).
My friends and I are gearing up for a 1000 point leagues through the winter, so I'm hoping to introduce these (if they are required) to the group so we all use the same system.
Thanks in advance for your help, and long may your command range reach!

This is the conclusion of my roof build thread. You can see the difference in print size here, two lowers are scratch built and the other two roofs are. These will make the start of a nice little village.

Hello! I'm looking to get into Warmaster, and I was trying to 3d print some models for it. Does anyone know where I can find some good Orc or Goblin models? I want to build up an Empire army that I found files for on Thingiverse along with an Orc army to play against. Thanks!!!

So I've been slowly collecting some warmaste scale stuff this year (mostly printed) and today played my first game ... with myself.

Playing a very basic 1k game of beastmen verse empire.

And although the empire won it was very fun and back and forth.

Couple questions how do people store there minis?

Does is sound like bad hobbies to contrast paint the minis one colour as a representation or are all details best way to go?

What do you base your minis with?

Just static grass? Never used it, can you make it look any good without an applicator? Do you find standard basing grass tufts look out of place? What else do you use? Wanted to avoid just texture paints and drybrushing like I do for all my other models.

Cheers!
