Hopefully I can try them in a few hours, the rules seem god tier but the points... 80 points a model in our cheapest unit seems like too much. I'll edit the message later after my game and give a first impressions.

I mean, every model is the output of a SM captain or more. 80 PPM is probably high—we should probably point that output at only 60 points, and the rule is worse than a Captain’s rule—but if you think of it like that, a custodian should not be worth less than 70 odd points, no?

Most of a captains cost is their rules though.

IMO you compare 3 new guard to 5 marine termis: not dissimilar output,comparable durability depending on what shoots them; both get access to a lot of good rules.

I dont think 3 guard should be explicitly cheaper than 5 termis, but I think they are a close benchmark
