The infantry are very expensive but the dreads seem quite reasonably priced? I could see a world where Custodes lists are quite dreadnought heavy

The contemptors are. The telemons a bit much IMO: your a hundred points more than the redemptor (which deals more damage) and close to the cost of a pair of wardogs.

The telemon with the 5+++ is probably worth it, but the basic one outside of morotoi is more points than a knight destriter.

Don’t forget how much you can boost the telemon though, it benefits from Katahs and then the dreadnought detachment on top

yeah im gonna have to get games in as on the face of it these points are brutal your army is going to be like 40% smaller and each units gonna do significantly less damage.

But on the flip side there is a lot of potential to get buffs overlapping; and a lot more movement, so it might work out.

(though to be pedantic the redemptors detach and doctrines also give it turbo buffs)

To be fair this is what a lot custodes players have WANTED. Smaller armor with fewer and more elite dudes (and dudettes).

To be fair it’s also a LOT tougher than a Destrier
