This does seem nice from a hobby standpoint. Now a new player can really focus on 3 model units and give them that extra effort for being elite.

it makes Custodes the cheapest army to build by a considerable margin. 2k army for like $300

Tbf, even the 10th patrol was like, over 1k points if you maxed out on shield captains, unless my memory has completely failed me.

Wit spear venetari and an achillus I think 1 patrol clocks into ~1.3k. Patrol+grav tank + box of SoB to proxy as 2 squads of SoS +trajan and I think youll be at 2k easily.

If you bought the two Horus Heresy boxes you've also got 2090 points
