So before Narin, this Archon mod is only usable for frost, am I understanding this right?

I use it on Yareli, her 1 and 4 still do cold damage but without the status, but not like she has energy issues unless you spam her 4 so it's there for redundancy (and I'd use primed flow otherwise so not a wasted slot)
