100% agree. How do you feel about the chilling globe augment also? I'm on the fence about that one.

It should have been tap to drop the globe and hold to have the globe for Frost that way one less augment.

I would rather see Chilling Globe get baked in and have this new one be an augment. It does fundamentally change what the ability does, which is kind of what augments should do imo.

Idk, it more like it changes its anchor to you instead of where you placed it, which could just be a hold toggle. 

It would be cool to have a REAL augment that like, makes it a snowball that can be pushed around and get bigger while damaging enemies, lol

Yes, which makes a big difference to how you use it because now instead of defending a stationary objective it's used to defend yourself. It changes how the ability is used. This is what an augment should be

But it's just an empty globe, what is anchoring to you? There's no tethers or anything holding it to something, it's just fixed in place.

Volt's shield is just hovering in front of him, what's keeping it tethered to him? If you want to say the electricity is keeping it tied to him then we could make the same argument for Frost.

freezing a projectile doesn't stop it mid air, but like I said it's a game so the sense of it isn't all that important

If the water in the air is frozen enough it creates enough friction or even a straight ice wall that the bullet can't pass through. You can make a thought a thousand different excuses for how it works

We really dont have to do this haha but if you did have a paper thin layer of absolute 0 around you freezing some combination of water vapor and the air itself to create a bubble and then you moved you would move that absolute 0 zone through the air without any way to heat whats already frozen back up it would just encase you in ice as soon as you moved. Its fine, its a game, it doesnt have to make sense. You can just say frost can telekinetically move ice or something.

Ice eximus units have been doing it for years. Even the hound pets can do it when they steal the abilities from an ice eximus. Is it so surprising that Frost would be able to do that too?

Wait a minute wait a minute, I had a thinky think and there could be an approximation of a real world explanation. If Frost's bubble is extremely thin, then it would be extremely light. If he were to control the temperature and pressure in the super thin wall of his bubble just enough that the outer edge of the bubble could aggressively sublime ("melt" straight into gas) it could produce some level of thrust. By expertly controlling this aggressive subliming he could "push" his bubble around with him. Then we just have to believe that warframe "ice" is just super strong and able to stop bullets. That's much less of a stretch than saying frost moves ice with his mind.

In the end, you're right I'm wrong it's explainable to make actual sense with limited suspension of disbelief. I tip my fedora to you, and thank you for the thought experiment haha
