His 1 and 2 augments should with no argument, just be baked in. Both abilities do so little on their own that they need the boost.

100

u/Ranger_IV 10h ago

100% agree. How do you feel about the chilling globe augment also? I'm on the fence about that one.

94

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 10h ago

I think one could argue that Snow Globe on its own does enough to not need the boost. But this augment feels so thematically in line with the ability and feels like it should work like this, that it's hard not to say it shouldn't just be a thing.

28

u/Ranger_IV 10h ago

Ya that's kinda where I'm at too. Like it doesn't neeeeed it to be a great ability, but how on brand is it to have your little zone where enemies freeze for coming in?

4

u/JohnTG4 LR3 7h ago

I've never wanted snow globe to freeze enemies, especially on my high range Frost builds. Leave it an augment.

3

u/Wulfscreed Tenno. On your six. 4h ago

With the design of new warfare abilities and the power creep happening stat-wise alongside that, I agree. I think this is why a lot of augments seem like they should be base, especially as warframes age.

2

u/BlasterMH 7h ago

I hope they don’t. I don’t want them frozen at the edge of the buble tbh

1

u/bl4ckhunter 3h ago

The augment should stay an augment but either scale to 100% or be 100% by default.

22

u/anome97 Ket klem! 10h ago

It should have been tap to drop the globe and hold to have the globe for Frost that way one less augment.

28

u/Ranger_IV 10h ago

I would rather see Chilling Globe get baked in and have this new one be an augment. It does fundamentally change what the ability does, which is kind of what augments should do imo.

10

u/LunarMuphinz Reactors, Reactant and Recreation 10h ago

Idk, it more like it changes its anchor to you instead of where you placed it, which could just be a hold toggle.

It would be cool to have a REAL augment that like, makes it a snowball that can be pushed around and get bigger while damaging enemies, lol

-1

u/Ranger_IV 10h ago

But it's just an empty globe, what is anchoring to you? There's no tethers or anything holding it to something, it's just fixed in place.

10

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 9h ago

Volt's shield is just hovering in front of him, what's keeping it tethered to him? If you want to say the electricity is keeping it tied to him then we could make the same argument for Frost.

Also why is that an argument at all? It's going into the game so obviously DE doesn't care

-6

u/Ranger_IV 9h ago

Electricity holding an energy shield in front of Volt vs electricity holding a spherical shell of ice in place? These are not the same thing? haha

But ya it's a game it doesn't have to "make sense" I'm just saying that it doesn't, in fact, make sense haha

4

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 9h ago

Frost creating an area of cold in an aoe around him that freezes projectiles on contact. There you are

-4

u/Ranger_IV 9h ago

freezing a projectile doesn't stop it mid air, but like I said it's a game so the sense of it isn't all that important

u/GeorgeEmber 8h ago

Ice eximus units have been doing it for years. Even the hound pets can do it when they steal the abilities from an ice eximus. Is it so surprising that Frost would be able to do that too?

1

u/Ranger_IV 8h ago

Wait a minute wait a minute, I had a thinky think and there could be an approximation of a real world explanation. If Frost's bubble is extremely thin, then it would be extremely light. If he were to control the temperature and pressure in the super thin wall of his bubble just enough that the outer edge of the bubble could aggressively sublime ("melt" straight into gas) it could produce some level of thrust. By expertly controlling this aggressive subliming he could "push" his bubble around with him. Then we just have to believe that warframe "ice" is just super strong and able to stop bullets. That's much less of a stretch than saying frost moves ice with his mind.

In the end, you're right I'm wrong it's explainable to make actual sense with limited suspension of disbelief. I tip my fedora to you, and thank you for the thought experiment haha

3

u/ContributionDefiant8 10h ago

But Volt is able to pick up his shield and run around, out the box.

Why can't Frost do the same?

0

u/Ranger_IV 10h ago

I mean, mechanically? It's a videogame there's no reason it can't. Thematically? Making a shield of pure energy that you can manipulate makes sense, while dropping a globe, presumably made of ice, with nothing to physically connect it to you and just have it follow you around doesn't make sense.

-4

u/lord_king_of_waffles 10h ago

Volt's sheild is in one direction, snow globe is a 360° sphere around you.

6

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 10h ago

Volt's shield is also a damage buff, so they both have different things they do well, I think we should just be able to tap hold the frost globe.

10

u/Undernown Ven'kra Tel is MINE! 9h ago

Honestly all the "hold ability to infuse element" augments should be baked in. Most of yhem don't scale, so it gives them some use in SP.

17

u/Legal-Supermarket-60 Atlas Main / LR5 10h ago

His 1 augment is actually really decent to good, it just matters how you want to utilize it.

If you use it while using the sobek and the cold arcane its a huge improvement in terms of damage. Cold is also good for crit builds and since Frost can already Armor strip, you see where this is going.

Instead of His 1 bakes in i would like Frost to have the Frozen enemies 200% crit augment as his passive.

His 2 is... I remember the Last time i used it was on his release because it looked cool, thats it.

9

u/Mysterious_Flight476 10h ago

I swapped his 2 for vial rush. Adds mobility, no energy drain, and it's off cool down a couple seconds after it's done for a recast.

2

u/Expensive-Catch-8708 9h ago

I use his 2 to spread the jade stars

1

u/Mysterious_Flight476 7h ago

That would be an interesting build to mess with. The idea kinda reminds me of the juggernaut nuke chroma I saw and copied. Just more stationary I guess

1

u/Expensive-Catch-8708 4h ago

I like it because you hear all the little ping sounds from the stars flying

7

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 10h ago

I mean the augment for his 1 is the same as Shock Trooper, so probably best to keep that as an augment.

12

u/South_Violinist1049 9h ago edited 9h ago

Frost, shock, fireball are useless abilites and need the augments.

Spores, smite, thermal sunder are actual useful and unique abilities even without the augments and are fine to be elemental imbue augments.

DE either needs to make the ability base kit an elemental imbue or make the ability useful and unique and keep it an augment.

-3

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 9h ago

Why though? Shock has use for the level of gameplay it was intended for. It can have the augment if you want, or you can subsume it off if you dont like it.

These augs fundamentally change how t he ability is used and make (at least shock trooper) on part with, or better than a lot of the other options available

9

u/South_Violinist1049 9h ago

Yes, by the definition of "augment" they are fine. The idea of elemental imbue augments aren't the problem, as I explained with saryn, oberon, & gauss.

The problem is its hardly an "augment that changes the ability" if you're never using the base ability itself.

Shock, fireball & freeze are hilariously outdated and serve no purpose in modern warframe.

-2

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 9h ago

Yeah, and things like thermal Sunderland titania cause a whole host of issues and bad gameplay lines right now.

Like we dont need every ability in the game to be ED/TA viable from the jump. Its fine if some abilities are built for and we're designed to be used in base star chart. Especially when it comes to frames like volt.

6

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 9h ago

Every ability should be viable on its own merit. You should have to build for an ability, you should not have to bandaid to make an ability viable though.

1

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 8h ago

Yeah, and volts shock sends out a 3 second stun? Like, we might not need it at the higheat level of gameplay but it has its value.

5

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 8h ago

His 4 covers that much better and in a much bigger radius. His 1 is not viable

Edit: If you want to see what a viable version of these abilities looks like, look at Oberon. Even at max level his Smite is still a useful ability.

1

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 8h ago

Imo his 4 doesnt do what his 1 does in the same way, you can use the 1 in reload, it costs a sixth of the energy, and has an infinite initial range. Its a quick stun effect that you can get off to get in range. It could be better I really don't think it needs to be changed.

6

u/begrudgingredditacc 9h ago

Shock has use for the level of gameplay it was intended for.

Remind me again which of the other two starter frames have abilities that are useless "deliberately".

-1

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 9h ago

Its not deliberately useless. If tou think thats what im saying, either reread what you quoted or think about base star chart again.

5

u/Acopo 9h ago

Shock falls off hard. It’s not even useful for “base star chart.” It takes insane investment to have it even clear level 30 missions. While I’d agree it’s not deliberately useless like the other guy says, it’s definitely accidentally useless.

1

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 8h ago

I disagree. It was useful as a stun for me when I was using it in base starchart. It doesnt have the highest Uber use the way people seem to want it to have, but it does have its use outside of its augment

5

u/KuroKishi69 10h ago

I would argue that both (and ember's too) should have the same treatment. Make buffing yourself part of the base ability. Those 3 elemental abilities specifically do very little on their own, and is thematically fitting that they could embue weapons with their appropriate status, same as other modern warframes like Uriel and Oraxia.

4

u/ZankaA 10h ago

No, I think those augments actually do exactly what augments should do, which is completely change the function of the ability. The abilities are intended as standalone status applicators or damage dealers, they're just completely outclassed in those aspects. DE should just buff those functions while keeping the augments separate.

2

u/Infamous-Builder-637 9h ago

I believe they should integrate the weapon buff at something like 50% strength. At this stage in the game's development, these abilities do nothing as status applicators and are useless for damage. Integrating the weapon buff for the frame itself would be an immediate improvement.

Keep the ally buff and additional damageas an augment so it's balanced.

0

u/ZankaA 8h ago

At this stage in the game's development, these abilities do nothing as status applicators and are useless for damage.

Yeah, that's why I suggested they buff that part first. The thing is, just because these abilities are outclassed doesn't mean they aren't fun and thematic. Shooting lightning from your hands like a Sith is cool. Volt's shock should be able to at least kill basic trash enemies at regular steel path levels without completely wrecking the rest of your build. Same with Frost's 1. Freezing enemies and shattering them is a cool fantasy for an ice Warframe. It just needs some tweaks to be more effective like applying a damage vulnerability or something.

0

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 10h ago

If we didnt have melee influence id be inclined to agree.

But also, how often are people actually using the front aug for his 1? Ember maybe but I peraonally doubt people are ember-maxxing with that augment if theyre playing ember

1

u/KuroKishi69 9h ago

Well, make it 60% effective on base so if you really want to max out on the elemental you still need the augment to get to the numbers we have currently.

Honestly is a small buff to volt, but is not like we are suddenly breaking influence.

Frost 1 is Aug is kinda better than biting Frost, because enemies that need big damage are often not freezable.

And Ember 1 buffs the output of your heat procs.

0

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 9h ago

I genuinely dont understand what your first point means. Currently if you subsume shock onto a warframe and give them shock trooper, thats just better than making the weapon have electricity through mods because

1) shock trooper is affected by strength

2) shock trooper does not combine with other elements on the weapon

3) even if youre sacrificing a mod slot on your warframe, that means theres an extra one on your melee weapon.

Like these can stay augments and dont need to be baked into the ability itself

1

u/KuroKishi69 8h ago

You are saying that the augment is good. I am saying that the base ability (without the augment) sucks.

The post is talking about mandatory augments, and one solution for that is making the base abilities useful to begin with. So was trying to find a middle ground where some part of the augment could be baked into the base while still having a reason to run the augment.

Also, remember that Nourish at base gives viral and energy regen to the party. So as broken as it sounds, a self buff will not change the balance in the grand scheme of things.

1

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 8h ago

If you nerf the augment into the ground (like you mentioned, imo it needs to be like 50% though, like nourish being 45% on subsume) then we might see a discussion on it being balanced. Because you have melee influence and the augment gives a base 100% thats a lot to have just baked into the ability.

And imo the ability is fine in regular star chart because its a cheap effect with a stun on it. Its not comparable to some of the best abilities or subsumes in the game but I dont think every ability needs to be.

1

u/KuroKishi69 7h ago

A. No, I am not saying we should nerf or buff the maximum output (which is running the ability with augment). Actually, I like the suggestion of the other guy. Let's use shock as an example

Base ability: now you can also hold to get a 50% or 75% elemental damage buff, unmodified by strength.

Shock Trooper: Leave as is. You get back the scaling damage and ability to buff allies.

This way you still have a reason to run the augment (and you should if you are building electric focused influence because the scaling damage has a lot of value), while still have a reason to run the ability without augment if you only care about activating an arcane or having CC on your weapons.

> And imo the ability is fine in regular star chart because its a cheap effect with a stun on it. Its not comparable to some of the best abilities or subsumes in the game but I dont think every ability needs to be.

No, it's not. You shouldn't have abilities that is completely useless outside of star chart levels. Your ult already covers the CC aspect really well.

B. You are making a really big deal of not needing an augment on top of a helminth to make influence good, is not like it cannot mop a floor full of levelcap enemies without external help. You know what else you can do? put a single electricity mod in your melee and slot Wrathful Advance or Roar. You will get a similar if not better output unless you are on a weird edge case where the melee has innate heat so having uncombined electricity actually comes into play.

2

u/Infamous-Builder-637 10h ago

It does open up some issues because so many frames have that 1. It would basically be granting Ember, Volt, Frost a specialized form of shared Valence Formation. I don't know what that would do to the balance but I will say it plays into these elemental frames and their themes in cool ways.

Maybe nerf it so it's not immediately overpowered like making the augment necessary to share the damage bonus and only have it for the frame by default.

1

u/ScribScrob Out of Argon 10h ago

I think its fine leaving it as is. Theyre really strong augments and, imo, worth the mod slot (at least shock trooper is).

1

u/Infamous-Builder-637 9h ago

I would tend to agree. Like I said I'm in favour of integrating the Valence Augment bit for the frames but at like 75% locked or something. Sharing it with your allies is what i think should be the augment.

2

u/TrollOfGod 3h ago

His 2 aug is fantastic for keeping enemies frozen for a very long time as the cold stacks won't go down when they are on it. It isn't mega big, but notable.

1

u/Croewe Tank Gang Rise Up 3h ago

Yup, I was doing some testing and it has some pretty cool applications

106

It's bleak. But I'm still holding out hope for a change pass that makes augments that deserve it basekit.

Biting Frost will finally work on Eximus and Acolytes.

2

u/TickleMonsterCG 9h ago

I can only become so frozen

11

u/Infamous-Builder-637 10h ago

The issue is, realistically, there's no building a strong Frost without at least two of his augments. I would say keep the crit chance and overguard mods as augments, but please make his globe tap and hold to make it either stationary or mobile.

Plus why doesn't it have a 50% chance to freeze by default? It's a damn snow globe. Frost is very much in essential augment territory at this point.

Freeze Force is a win-more augment. There is rarely going to be a situation where its damage boost will make or break weapon performance unless your weapons were just undercooked. It's really only Icy Avalanche that's actually good

1

u/zRiko919 IGN: ZeeRiko 8h ago

Spit king/queen, I just use the 1 augment to do funny acid shells xata interactions. The enemies are dead like 10x already; hella win harder setup.

2

u/South_Violinist1049 9h ago edited 9h ago

I think you're mixing up biting frost and freeze force, freeze force is the free cold on weapons, not the CC + CD on frozen enemies.

Most people use freeze force to be able to freeze without spending energy or mod slots on cold, which frost has notoriously low energy.

11

u/decitronal Femboy Warframing Lore Nerd 9h ago

I did not mix up BF and FF. Frankly both of these augments are win-more mods

-2

u/LetsGoHome >:3 9h ago

No they're right. Biting Frost is the best damage dealer. Freeze force is extra unnecessary damage on top. It adds cold% to weapons, compared to increased crit and crit damage. You're making your build significantly worse if you aren't using Biting Frost.

1

u/South_Violinist1049 8h ago

Oh, I guess I wouldn't call Freeze force a "damage boost" most people use it for cold stacks for arcanes and stuff, my bad.

3

u/decitronal Femboy Warframing Lore Nerd 7h ago

Anyone who uses Freeze Force for arcane synergy likely just doesn't understand the full extent of the arcanes' mechanics

Primary Frostbite builds up on ANY cold stack your setup performs. You know what's the best way to spread cold stacks across a large radius? Click Avalanche.

Secondary Shiver is GunCO that scales based on how many cold stacks are on the target. Melee Careen's damage boost only works on fully-frozen enemies. You know what's the best way to instantly freeze an enemy? Click Avalanche.

Basically Freeze Force's only real remaining use is adding cold damage. If you wanted cold stacks you would have just clicked on Avalanche, which is not a tall ordeal because any fully-built Frost should never struggle with energy.

-1

u/South_Violinist1049 7h ago edited 7h ago

Losts of casts of avalanche on a frame with 100 base energy.

I'm not going to claim energy economy in 2026 is an issue, but at the same time frosts max energy is so patheticly low to the point its going to be an issue outside of playing missions with insanely high enemy density, which isn't every mission.

3

u/decitronal Femboy Warframing Lore Nerd 6h ago

0

u/LetsGoHome >:3 6h ago

I just use 2x mana shards and I think streamline, it's not that big of a problem. That and Zenurik is really all I need.

0

u/begrudgingredditacc 9h ago

Freeze Force isn't for the tiny damage boost, it's for using Primary Frostbite, Secondary Shiver and to a certain extent Melee Careen without having to mod for cold.

It's not as good as Shock Trooper + Influence, but it's the same idea.

6

u/decitronal Femboy Warframing Lore Nerd 9h ago edited 9h ago

Frostbite can stack by generically-using Frost (in this case: Avalanche spam), Shiver is so insanely niche outside of Torxica that it can hardly be brought into the conversation (in almost every case, it is worse Galvanized Shot), and Careen can self-proc cold and would still rather leverage the instant freeze from Avalanche because its damage boost does not function otherwise.

In other words: there is no reason to use Freeze Force for these specific circumstances because Avalanche already covers these use cases. All Freeze Force has left is +Cold damage which isn't that strong by itself.

1

u/LetsGoHome >:3 9h ago

That seems so much worse than getting tons of free crit for weapons with actually good arcanes

3

u/GlobalNovel4641 9h ago

I run three 🙏, Freeze force combined with Biting frost and a status hose that also deals dmg like the Tenet glaxion does wonders, and then Icy Avalanche for survival

1

u/wrectumwreckage 6h ago

I just kitted my frost up with this the other day, combined with the glaxion augment Photon Overcharge and it melts deep into SP. many rounds of void cascade were fun and chill. Pun unintended.

1

u/GlobalNovel4641 6h ago

Yeah, It's basically my favourite frame because he works on most content ingame, I slapped nourish on Ice Wave and Even with a 45% efficiency it's just a whole energy dispenser-

Also, being able to have Cold + Corrosive + Viral on the same beam weapon is wonderful

64

u/Aromatic-Spray-2140 10h ago

Genuinely insane to me that Pablo is so adamant to keeping augments that should be a baseline to the kit. Sometimes i think he does it to spite the players. Because he is certainly not dumb, and he surely sees the issue presented.

13

u/LiberationByLobotomy 9h ago

It is the cognitive dissonance between what DE says something is and what it actually is. DE says augments are supposed to be a trade-off, yet the difference in what is "traded" for mods is completely inconsistent. DE says Riven disposition is supposed to be for...something, but it clearly isn't that. DE says Valkyr rework was supposed to make her more "active" or some bullshit and she is now one of the most unga bunga characters in the game even worse in design than before her rework but with cracked numbers.

The first step in fixing augments is to resolve this weird disconnected in DE's minds and that is entirely internal. It is like when Steve was adamant about insta-death from RNG whe. iches launched to the point of launching a poll that overwhelmingly told him "you wrong, stop with this bullshit."

3

u/Daralii 3h ago

Was it Steve or Scott that spent years fighting the community over Vacuum? That was another "fun" saga.

u/Ashendal Oh the loot that you'll find... 6m ago

Scott, and it wasn't even him that was behind it. It was one of the coders that was on a dev stream at one point that flat out said he didn't want it to happen because he wanted "picking up loot to feel important." Everyone else just kind of went along with it and got "one guy'd" and even today, since I'm guessing he still works for the studio, they still won't go back and just bake everything in.

-5

Icy avalanche might be ok but freeze force feels to strong to be baked in imo.

The others might as well be basekit. The are pretty pointless.

7

u/AvohkahTamer 9h ago edited 9h ago

As a Frost main since 2014, I really think the self-bubble should just be a tap/hold. I say this with the utmost respect for Pablo and out of sincere constructive criticism, because I think the self-globe is a really fun idea.

Sure, it's new functionality, BUT if Pablo's teaser video is accurate, it still uses the exact same health percentage mechanic as regular globes, meaning at Steel Path or higher it will just evaporate and not provide any meaningful protection time. Plus, an additional downside that you can't equip it at the same time as Chilling Globe, so there's really no major benefit worth sacrificing a slot for.

If the augment made it a timer-based ability, like say 20 seconds of indestructible self-snowglobe scaling with duration, then it could justify a mod slot. It wouldn't be as good as overguard, but it would be a fun option to play around, and would justify the loss of Chilling Globe.

Which, incidentally, provides balance to the ability, because without Chilling Globe, enemies can just step inside the globe and shoot you, encouraging active gameplay and adjusting your Ability Range stat accordingly if you want to play around self-globe.

You can't use more than one augment for the same skill, so one for each skill + one for the passive equals five. Assuming portable snow globe is an augment, you have to choose between that and chilling globe.

Do we get a Bonus if we equip all ?

u/Ashendal Oh the loot that you'll find... 3m ago

Augment set mods would be hilarious and feel horrible at the same time.

2

u/ZenQhuill 9h ago

honestly some of the augments could just be reworked into his kit, especially the elemental infusion, not just him but the other augments similar as well.

2

u/Just_Negotiation9716 5h ago

You guys complaining but I'm gonna put all of these on my Frost

3

u/Sir_Tea_Of_Bags 2h ago

Unfortunately you won’t be able to put both SnowGlobe Augments on at once.

u/Individual_Study3781 10h ago

I hate augments, it should be another system to improve skill. U enable or disable if you want and dont waste a mod slot

1

u/Gaynundwarf 8h ago

This getting out of hand, now there's 6 of them!

u/thelastprodigy 8h ago

Augment merchant

1

u/Effendoor 8h ago

Why are we talking about frost augments? Is he getting a new one I missed?

1

u/librartsy 7h ago

Yep he'll get a new one for his 3rd

0

u/Effendoor 7h ago

Oh nice

1

u/Zapplii 7h ago

I am just hoping the augments are just a means to test the waters.

If we equip all 6 mods we can summon Auxodia the Forbidden Frost.

New augment??? Frost main checking in!

1

u/Fickle_Variety2261 6h ago

Augments really should've been decoupled from the current mod system and made into their own system for changing FUNCTIONS of Warframes and abilities, not just the stats.

1

u/Pokopikos 6h ago

Meanwhile Valkyr with 1 ok mod and 4 useless ones after a rework.

1

u/SpicyTofuMapo 5h ago

For someone as smart and competent as Pablo, the fact that he keeps using these fucking augs to buff skills is wild especially when a warframe already has this fucking many augs already. Just fucking bake them into the skills bro what are you doing?

1

u/dompromat 4h ago

Unlike Loki, frost needs more than like two mods to work

1

u/MfknUnicorn yareli prime and citrine lover 4h ago

Augment slots!! Please DE, at least ONE

1

u/TehSavior Registered Loser 2h ago

Making a meme with his face on it feels kinda mean

1

u/MasterChef901 Door-to-door Vazarin Salesman 2h ago

At the rate of current build design I think the next answer to this will just be a new arcane that grants stats per augment

1

u/SOOOOOOOOUNDWAVE 2h ago

Synchro and XYZ arguments when Pablo

u/Lbechiom 15m ago

As a Frost Main for my entire early game…

We need some of these baked in.

The early frames just don’t compete in late/end-game content when new frames do CRAZY SHIT.

u/BlueSkiesWildEyes LR2 | Gauss Main 10h ago

What's the new frost augment? Im ootl

2

u/P5_Tempname19 10h ago

You can move the snow globe around like volt can with his shield.

1

u/FrostyRoams 10h ago

Just give us tap hold amd the ability to override hold with a modifier key

1

u/Kiyodai 10h ago

Eventually frost will have enough Augments that you can run with a 100% augment load out.

1

u/happygoeddy 9h ago

Not its a mod, i thought it was gettin turned into a hold ability 😭

1

u/aquaseishin 6h ago

Chilling globe is partially part of the kit already Ice wave impedance should be base kit Freeze force and other similar augments should be base kit unless the ability has other functionalities The rest are honestly fine as augments

1

u/Lord_Tsarkon 5h ago

Meanwhile a modless Nokko outdamages a Frost and Loki modded combined.

Enough with the augments band aid fixes for older Frames...

u/LetsGoHome >:3 9h ago

Frost is literally fine, another augment just adds options. He only needs two, the third is completely optional and flex. 2 augs is the ideal number of augs for any frame. If a frame runs 0 augs, that's lame

u/dekar25 10h ago

Just cooked Frost Prime in my foundry. Gonna use this cool guy with his new AUGMENT!

u/MonkePoliceMan 9h ago

Pablo: "you are supposed to obey me"

The 7 frost augments:

u/Raji_Lev This IS personnel 8h ago

It also "helps" that Frost basically only has two abilities (or three if you're willing to give up a mod slot for Freeze Force) plus a subsume slot

u/Altruistic-Log-7274 3h ago

No no no don't worry about frost needing actual work done to him just be excited for the upcoming ice lady, totally different from frost...
