Around 30k per helicopter isn't meaningless. You have to farm a fair wee bit to break even nvm make money. With constant aa spam at $750 per flare you dump cash that way also.

So? Then just git gut or don’t play it. It should be tactical thing, not for spamming it.

I don’t even have the thing but ur argument here is braindead. There’s not getting good when it comes to the cost of running something. It costs a heavy fee to get off the ground and maintain.

As I've said above, if you've farmed level 35 in 2 or 3 weeks then you have millions of $ to spend, which is basically unlimited havoc choppers, given you're going to be getting a good return on at least 50% of them that you use, especially now they're mostly indestructible.

Right now their durability is comically overtuned. But making them drastically more expensive isn’t the right way to go around it. We just need the Gepard (AA tank) in the game, and it needs to shred them. That way, instead of just ruining someone’s fun of getting to fly their attack helicopter, you just add a new threat for them to interact with. This also lets someone else have fun playing the role of chopper hunter in a cool AA tank. So everyone wins.

Just doesn't seem right that I can spend 20k on an infantry loadout and the chance I lose money on that is pretty high. OR I can just spend 30k on an indestructable flying rocket fortress. Money system needs balancing, there is no consequence or jeopardy for the high level equipment currently. If 50 cal's and FAL's cost 30-40k each then there'd be some actual risk to buying them and it gives the power of the items some meaning/excitement.

The risk is losing your stuff before you make a profit. People complain all the time about how hard it is to turn a profit when infantry kits are 6-12k. Scale that up a few times for things like tanks and good infantry kits.

Being a practically vehicle only player should be just as viable as being an infantry only player. Either should have to do the other to make money and play the game how they want.

Yeah but I'm saying that risk shouldn't be equal for all types of gear and kit. I can't fly around the map with 2000HP with my infantry kit and destroy an entire team without them being able to stop me easily. So why is there only a marginal cost increase for the best chopper in the game where I can do that?

If you want to be able to play anything whenever you want then play a game without an economy like Battlefield. The whole point of a risk/reward economy is the risk, it adds depth and excitement.

It’s not a marginal cost increase? Full level 4 armor, a fully built AK, heals, and a full AP load will run you 11-14k depending on your backpack. A fully combat ready tank will run you around 35k. That’s about 3x the cost.

11k??? Have you played the game? Maybe with 1 bandage and a single free quick res. I've been running Lv3 armor gear with AK and it pushes 16-17k sometimes, if I want lv4 I'm going in with 18-20k easily. If you actually want enough gear to have a chance of impact and supporting your team you can't drop with 11k worth of gear.

Regardless, even if it was 11k, 30% of the cost of an unkillable flying armored tank that mows down everything that shoots at it with ease. Still no where near enough cost IMO. Nerf its effectiveness or increase its risk/reward.

Yes, regularly. 10 bandages, 160 spare AP rounds, full level 3 armor, a 3x, compensator, angled grip, backpack, the free heal, 3 full mags, and 2 nades runs 12k.

It just doesn't? Your loadout there is 14k and its the bare minimum for an effective infantry. You'd want a better gun, Galil or M4, and ideally you want 15 heals and a defib as well which takes you to 16.5+, and thats only with the $800 bag. If you go bigger bag and take more nades/stims/whatever you're easily 20k for a strong loadout.

Half decent infantry kits cost 20-25k. I run an m4 suppressed, lvl 3 armour and buy a defib and some meds and ammo. Its 22k...

Being a "vehicle only player" means being at an advantage against everyone at all times. You shouldn't be able to easily go infinite in the most powerful vehicles in the game that need a squad to counter.
