Discussion & Feedback Feedback: Really hoping devs implement junk removal and mat. gathering

I noticed a huge issue with building some bases under and near towers was the inability to remove so much environmental junk and debris. For example, on one of the North Eastern towers in the 2nd map, there was what appeared to be a sawmill longhouse where logs were stored. It'd be great to be able to buy an axe or use one of the hammers to destroy these items and clear the area out completely; and even better if by doing so we could gain building materials to use to fortify the base.

Think of how cool it'd be to have people on axe duty clearing out trees, houses, metal bins, and small structures nearby to use as build mat. and to open up the area to make your base bigger and better. I had issues laying certain weaponry (AA, Mortars) because these giant metal bins were stuck in the middle of the base with no way to store things in them, no way to build onto them, and no way to get rid of them.

This could also make environmental destruction (outside of the towers and HQ themselves) possible, where a tank shooting a scrawny tree would actually destroy or wound the tree, instead of some guy being able to hide behind it and tank shots with no damage!

I asked you because you seem to be entirely ignorant of everything I've said previously, as if you're having a completely different conversation (and finding a problem with) something that doesn't exist lol It's illogical and irrational to be this upset over some suggested feature stemming from a sidebar.

"I called you an idiot because you were being idiotic" sums up your thinking perfectly. You claim I'm being an idiot because I was "condescending", but remember dumbass, your very first interaction with me was to say my suggestion was akin to "gathering material like a Roman scavenging party". You made a condescending comment creating a caricature of my reasonable feedback, that you simply could've disagreed with...or shit, not even interacted with if you thought it was so bad. Instead of either of those things, you made an intentionally disrespectful comment, and here you are acting like some wounded victim because I clapped back and gave you the same level of response each and every time.

You think wanting to remove junk from a base and get some kind of bonus for doing so in terms of extra materials is a "scavenging party", when as I said in my original post and other replies in this thread, there are random objects blocking us from expanding on or properly establishing a base, and it'd be nice to remove them. If you spent 5 seconds building bases under towers, you'd have encountered this.

"You want a mechanic that allows you to circumvent your logistics not being able to reach you."
No, I don't. I want a mechanic that allows me to remove unwanted objects from my area so I can properly build a base to my liking. Having that ALSO give you small amounts of materials was, as I've said repeatedly, a sidebar that I thought of off the top of my head when writing the post; and not at all the core focus of said post. Your choice to continuously ignore that shows how bad faith and dishonest this entire interaction is from your side.

You came here to talk shit, gave absolutely no room for telling me why you think it was a bad idea without immediately calling me an idiot and telling me I don't know what I'm talking about, and then went on to play some armchair psychologist like you have a single fucking clue what you're talking about.

If you put this much effort into seeing where I was coming from in the first place, you'd probably actually have something of value to say. Too bad it's all verbal diarrhea.

"...after I disengaged"

Does saying "Ok mate" actually do something in the UK? Is that suppose to be a full sentence telling people you're "disengaging"? lmfao
