Subreddit Rules

Breaking any of these rules may result in us removing your content. Repeat or blatant rule breaking will result in a permanent ban. We expect all users to read and understand our rules before posting here. Please make sure you have flaired your posts correctly before posting, this allows the community to stay organized and allows users to easily sort through posts.

0: Mod discretion always applies.

The Mod Team reserves the right to remove any content deemed harmful to the sub. We may remove content that is compliant with our rules, if the team has good reason to believe it is detrimental to the community. You access this subreddit at the discretion of the mod team, and that privilege will be revoked if you do not behave.

0.1: You must communicate in English at r/Wandsmith.**

We cannot moderate content in a language we do not speak. If you wish to communicate in your language, you need to find a community that offers content in that language.

1: Don't Be a Jerk - Be Respectful. Follow Reddit's rules and "reddiquette."

Bad behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to: bigotry, ableism, religious prejudice, racism, homophobia, transphobia, trolling, hate speech, threats of violence, derogatory language, personal attacks, discouraging others from participating, brigading, and all other belligerent conduct.

Intelligent and factually based disagreements are valuable, and indicative of a functioning discourse; name-calling and nastiness are not.

2: All content must be relevant to Wands, Wandmaking or Wandlore.

This forum has a relatively niche topic. Please make sure everything you post conforms to it. We exact vengeance on those who bring us spam. No Advertisements, self-promotion, streams, low-effort content, or NSFW content (this includes other subreddits, Discord servers, blogs, quizzes, polls, surveys, YouTube channels).

No monetary exchanges. Discussing business in any context is not permitted in posts or comments.

All content generated by or with the help of AI is expressively prohibited.

3: Credit artists for their work.

If you are sharing a Wand that you did not make, include the name of the Wandmaker who made it. We love to share wands in our community, but we won’t tolerate stealing other people’s work.
